Well, are I not a linux guy? Well, heck yeah! But, I picked up this old mac for $10. It had a 1.2 gig scsi drive, 120 megs of memory and pci slots. It's a PowerMac 7200/180 model. I obtained MacOS 8.5 and needed to load that first. I have MacOS 9.1 as well, but, that cannot be loaded at the beginning because a "old world" Mac cannont boot it. For an old machine, it runs pretty good. For the browser, I downloaded WamCom, which is a fully patched Mozilla 1.3.1. So, I am very modern at that point. I got ChitChat for Yahoo Chat and Jabbernaut for my Jabber/IM needs.

ooooo, a shiny new mac. Sometime, I'll lay hands on one of those color iMacs. I'll take green or blue.
