I did a story on those frustrating outages most of us experienced the last couple of days.

Yahoo has no explanation for what happened other than a software issue. Kinda sounds more like a denial of service attack to me the way their system was crawling. Could have been a router issue on their end as well.
Keep the forum in mind when the outages occur. We can all meet up here in the forum chat, go to my IRC chat server or just join up in my 1freeworld Technologies Instant Messenger which is similar to using Yahoo but no voice or cam support.
