Wine runtime for Linux

After spending hours trying to get the stupid thing to work, I give up on the Wine project. It used to work just fine, but they have changed something yet again and it does not function for most programs anymore. What a piece of crap. I will try the Crossover Pro plugin and see if it can work for me.

ok, I installed the latest Crossover Office Pro and it worked ok. So, I feel that the Wine folks have done something weird to Wine that makes running several Windows programs I used to run useless.
