Sorry all, but I'm rather excited. Knoppix 3.9 has been released. It has my favorite KDE 3.4 desktop. Couldn't you tell it was my favorite from the desktop screenshots? It also contains Kernel 2.6.11 and all the updates in Debian / Sid. If you have never played with Linux, this is the thing for you to download. Knoppix is the groundbreaking Linux Live CDROM distribution. You can also install it on your computer, but it's real power is in having a USB memory key and put on it your settings and extra programs, then take your Knoppix CDROM and key to wherever you use a computer. It's a big download because it is a full CDROM image file, but if you have access to the bandwidth, I strongly recommend you get Knoppix.
