I had been using Explore phone for like 2 years, until I lost it. I left it in a taxi and what sad there, was when I was about to take my phone and thought I would call my friend to tell I was home and to check on her,too, I couldn't find my phone, so I was sure I left it in the taxi after talking on it while I was on the way. I ran down and tried to catch the taxi and it's still there doing U-turn .so I stopped it, but ....man, he intentionally took it away. He didnt stop. I went right away to the guard house and dialed....man, it was already turned off! Stupid guards,too. They didn't record the taxi plate number.  Angry

Now I am using this N3230.

* Games-- never tried using it
* Lifeblog-- free download

LG's VX8000 is the first phone to use Verizon's Vcast video entertainment service. It also happens to be the carrier's best camera phone as they say. The VX8000 has a fantastic keypad, a big, crisp screen, and a long-lasting battery.  Embedded with1.3 megapixel camera to capture video or still pictures.
Got cool features with messaging and chat capabilities...not the greatest but you can get by with it.

l'm still using my old XDA II... was tempted to buy the XDA IIi thow... but still too expensive

l think that the pda phone is good, fast and has easy access. the resolution of the camera is not as expected. the colour screen is great. its slightly heavy though. the only problem really with this pda phone i am facing is that of not getting clear signals at places where my old nokia 6600 long time ago would be crystal clear.

its a triband phone, GSM900 / GSM1800 / GSM1900, got 128 MB RAM, for external storage it got sd/mmc slot memory card, l use 256 MB but thinking to buy the 1 Giga, cuz now the 256 MB one is almost full.

the phone is good, fast and has Audio,Built-in mic, Built-in speakers. for connectivity, it got Bluetooth, GPRS/GSM, and Infrared.
Other features...Pocket PC 2003 Phone Edition, Processor Intel XScale PXA263. Processor speed
400MHz, Screen Backlit display, 320 x 240, Touch screen.
The Software Built-in OS windows.
Cool

Well Nellie it all depends on what you want your phone to do. I not one to send text messages or surf the net a whole lot on my phone. So a phone with a large display and a large keypad is not important to me. I also not one to listen to music when I am walking around...so a phone with an MP3 player is not important to me. A phone with a camera in it is kinda cool and is probably found on most cells now days, but the picture quality is still not all that great for printing out purposes. For xmas I got myself the motorolla RAZR(called the Razor) V3 Silver and I also change my service from Cingular to Verizon which got me a rebate of 100 dollars off the phone. The Razor price varies from service provider. I purchase a package that included the blue tooth head set and the leather phone cover and the battery charger that charges in your automobile for $200 dollars and with the rebate I really only spend $100 US dollars. The razor is blue tooth capable so also purchase a headset that is motorolla as well. I like the blue tooth a lot because I can keep my eyes on the road a lot easier and do other things. I like the RAZR because its real thin, only 1/2 inch thick and it fits in your shirt pocket very easily. It looks real cool also. It has a camera also that takes a decent pic for on your display screen but I not sure what it looks like downloaded to a pc. I know it not look that good to print out. The size of the screen/display is not the largest but its large enough to play games and watch video on and the sound is loud enough and clear also.  It used to be one the thinnest phones on the market but now Motorolla has come out with the SLVR(called the Sliver) L7 which is a combo RAZR with IPOD. It doesnt have the flip part of the RAZR so its even thinner. It has everything my phone has plus an IPOD built into it. So if you listen to a lot of music that would be a good choice to get. Bad thing about these phones is they not keep a charge for very long. I purchase V(Video) cast with verizon so I watch a lot of TV on my RAZR so I have to charge every night when I get home.  I can watch CBS, ESPN, CNN, NBC and ABC news on my phone for only $10 extra a month which to me is not that expensive because I not purchase any text message plans. I can access my email and a few other things as well. So if style and small size with large enough buttons to push  are important to you...you cant go wrong with these 2 phones.  If you wanna surf the net and chat with your phone?  Beth has the low down on that kinda phone thats best.
