I did a story on Geeksters.org this morning about a new way to manufacture solar panels.

Italian scientists have found a way to make organic solar panels with pigment from blueberries. The panels contain no silicon and with further development, the new panels will eventually catch up to and exceed the power levels of silicon manufactured panels. With many efforts on alternative energy resources going on around the world, this is a good thing.
