Hello, folks  Many a times we have heard of stories about how this person and that person has been cheated by the other person's real identity.(Ouch! Did I just hit myself on the head? )Anyway, let's all contribute something to help each other, ok? Post your ideas here...like--should you insist that the other person get on cam? ask for a copy of the birth certificate and/or driver's license? demand that he/she meets you in person first before you go deeper into the relationship? Post away, kiddo's

LOL.Well,yes webcam is the best proof when about seeing his/her real appearance.Not to really see if she/he looks good but to see if he/she's really the one you're talking online.LOL.

How about also asking the person to live with you for a few days?
So now we have established that a webcam is not a sure way to find out if the person is real, huh? I'd say if the person is way too "smooth", (the way she/he talks, the way he describes himself/herself) alarm bell should ring in one's head. Because a bogus person would always take extra care in what he/she says to get the other person continously interested in him/her.

Humnnn....I think if the person has invited you to meet some of his friends or family (like his/her kids for example) on the net, that could surely mean he/she is for real? Not just someone who is just out to have some goodtimes online?

hmmm... l know a guy that told his online gf abt everything, he said he is 28, he sent lotsa pictures, talk on the phone, webcamming etc. for almost 3 years!
Dang! the whole 3 years he showed other person's face on cam  and his gf believe him! oh gosh after that she found out that he is on his 50's and he use his friend's pictures n asked him to be on the cam too, and he did it often for 3 years
zooooo it didnt guarantee 100% eventho safer if u seen em on cam
