Tips For Concerts

here is some hopeful information for going to a concert: some concerts don't let you bring cameras in, if you do hide it somewhere say in your pants - that sometimes works. outdoor events probably will let you bring a lighter but indoor events may take your lighter upon entry to the show. most likely you will have to go through security - take only what you need like id money and phone. if you have any other thoughts or suggestions please post.

Be open minded about who you go see. A couple buddies of mine got me to go to some concerts I didn't care to go to and it turned out to be a great show. Now, I like those band we saw.

Bring ear plugs. The decibel level at rock concerts is not good for your eardrum. I remember seeing Kiss and Cheap Trick live when i was 10 years old. My own mother drove myself and my 2 friends to Norman, Oklahoma and even attended the concert. We had steats right up close to the stage. After concert we were yelling whlile just talking so we could hear each other for the whole ride home. Eversince then i wear earplugs. I made my daughter and her 2 friends wear earplugs when we saw christina aguilera and justin timberlake this past summer. They looked at me like i was stupid, but when they heard how loud it was they said i was a smart guy. lol

I agree with ya whole heartedly keen, when i was in high school, my best friend was a "dead head" and i was into the death metal/ hard core/punk scene, we made a deal, he was gonan go see Napalm Death/sepultera/sadus/godflesh with me at the 9:30 in DC and then the next time the dead came, i was to go with him to see em, i just said "f**k it, i know the dope will be good, even if the music sucks" I learned alot about music and open mindedness that night, and i have loved the grateful dead ever since.
