Super Bowl 2005

Who is your favorite team to win the Super Bowl? Everyone is pretty much in agreement that there are three "Clear Cut" favorite teams... - New England Patriots - Pitsburg Steelers - Philadelphia Eagles But who do you think should also be considered a Favotrite to win it all...and who is your "Cinderella" Team this year? And who is your "Dark Horse" team that could really do damage in the playoffs? Which team has been the Biggest Disappointment so far this year? Post Away

I think Pitsburg would be my favorite to win it all great O line and running backs and the defense is Nasty. My Cinderella team would be Carolina Panthers they are playing some good football right now. Biggest Disappointment would be the Saints but of course they disapoint me every year lol.

The Eagles just lost their BEST player... SuperStar Wide receiver Terrell Owens had surgery today on a fractured leg, and is out for the rest of the Regular Season and most of the Playoffs. The Doctor said if all goes well, he might be ready if the Eagles reach the Super Bowl. Well...There goes the Eagles chances of winning this year! Flushhhhhh!! Right Down the Drain. You know...when Terrell Owens played for the 49ers, I didn't like him. When he did that show-off move in Dallas on the Cowboy "Star" at mid-field after a touchdown, I thought he was the biggest Azz in the NFL. But now that I watch more of his games, I have made a complete 180degree turn on my views towards the wide reciever. Sure he is Brash, Cocky & sometimes does things that make you scratch your head, but more often than not they are after running incredible routes that very often end up in the End-Zone. I just think his trademarked "Sharpie" & "Pom-Pom" post touchdown celebrations was a stroke of pure Genius! Totally creative...and left other players saying, "Now..Why didn't I think of that"? Terrell is Da Man!! Err....Next season that is! lmao...

Ok Gang, The Super Bowl is all set for this weekend. Who Ya Got!!?? The New England Patriots vs The Philadelphia Eagles! Terrell Owens is planning on playing this weekend, and his play could determine the outcome of the Super Bowl. Personally I don't think he will be much of a factor, and I think the Eagles have a better shot at winning than alot of people give them credit for. I think the final score will be... Patriots 27 Eagles 24 That means I would take the Eagles and the 7 point odds in Vegas if I was a Betting man, but hey, what the Heck do I know right? lmao!

I think it will be the Patriots....in a high scoring game. The Patriots have a history of a quick start, then letting the opposition "catch up". I feel that the Patriots are the best coached team in football and that gives them the edge in this game.

Ahhh...Nothing like a Beautiful Gal who is Actually Interested in Sports, and understands that to stand in front of the TV when the Super-Bowl is on...Is like taking her Favorite Linen to clean the Car. Either way...I am sleeping on the sofa! I will make a confession of sorts. I have never been in a relationship with a Gal who liked Sports, and I have always longed to curl up on the sofa with my Gal on Super Bowl Sunday to watch the Game instead of having all my Rowdy Friends over to keep me company. Welcome to the Sports section Coochie...Enjoy!

Alright Gang....I think Bragging Rights are ALL MINE! I called it...I said the final score would be.. Pats 27 Eagles 24 But the actual score was... Pats 24 Eagles 21 I was *slightly* off on the actual score...but I did call the 3 point spread. So Hats off to all those who took my advice and picked New England to win, but for them to NOT cover the spread and cleaned up in Vegas! lol Just a few thoughts on the Super Bowl. I am simply amazed with the INCREDIBLE play of Terrell Owens! I thought he would play but be used more as a Decoy and in the end wouldn't be much of a factor in the final outcome. How WRONG I was on that one! Terrell racked up 122yards on 9 catches. That is dang impressive with only one good leg. Just imagine what Terrell could of done with two good legs? That's scary! What a sloppy First Half! McNabb was very shakey and it seemed that almost every pass he threw was in jeopardy of being picked off, and Brady wasn't any better. The big difference IMO..is that Brady settled down and started to put together a few drives late in the second quarter, and with Cory Dillon getting good yardage on the ground it opened up some of the passing lanes, and in the second half Brady used the screen to full effect and kept the Eagles defense honest. I even remember one play when the Eagles started to scream "Screen...Screen"!!! before the ball was snapped and STILL the Eagles couldn't stop the forward progress of the Pats! Ohh well...it was a good game, not a Great game. It came down to the last few minutes in the Fourth Quarter, and from a fans viewpoint...that's all I could of asked for.
