WhY Is LOVE PaInFuL??

Is love painful ??  
Who hasn't experienced the pain of love? Or is it the pain of rejection? The pain of self doubt? The pain of fear? It's important to distinguish between love and totally separate feelings. 
post away roomies....share ure thoughts and opinions k??

i think its all on the matter on how u take love seriously. I myself take it things in different level. Not in the painful way. Lots of fish in the ocean thats why i dont go for seaweeds...lol 
Its kinda hard when it comes to the point that u have to decide and make it final though.
Only matter is once u made ur decision u have to stick with it no matter wat.

Loving takes so much
Does loving include hating?
Does it include pain?
I wonder.
Can you love someone deeply
without sometimes turning against them?
Because loving takes so much-----
it takes all of us so that
sometimes there is nothing left.
I think pain is part of the whole process of loving.... as some say, loving is not all bed of roses..... it's meant to hurt sometimes........ but if you'll open ur eyes you'll realize that 'tis better to feel pain but also feel love than never feel pain and not love at all.... (do I make sense? )
And to keen, he's right.... just let me add something from Mother Theresa: " A living love hurts. Jesus to prove his love for us, died on the cross. The mother, to give birth to her child has to suffer....."

Love is painful because love also feels good. Just like life and death or peace and war. Love is painful cuz when u are in it, u sacrafice so much. Think about it? You put all u have got in yourself into it. Its about someone else not you. So y the hell do u do it if it hurts so much. Well look what u get back. Sometimes u get 10 or 20 more times the amount of love back. So u say well this feels good so u give 30 or 40 more times back at the other person and it just builds and builds and builds then wham something happens and u are all of a sudden lonely and u have all this love to give and the idiot who took all your love all of a sudden dont want to give any back. So feelings of anger and regret and remorse and sadness set in. This is the pain. So u gotta figure out was it worth it. I say yes it was. Because what would the world be without it. U think the world is bad now well without love we would all probably be extinct and if not it would be a miserable place to live. It would be a living hell. Y does love hurt? U gotta take the pros with the cons. Its not supposed to be easy.

If you go into a relationship not feeling terribly good about yourself, you're more likely to become dependent on your partner to help you feel good about yourself. If we felt empty before they appeared in our lives, we fear the emptiness returning if they leave, so their staying with us becomes paramount. That dependency can create all kinds of fear and unhappiness when there's a perceived threat to you staying together.
If we aren’t giving ourselves the acceptance we crave, we look to those around us to provide it for us. Again, none of this has a thing to do with the love you feel, but allot to do with the fear you feel.

Love is not painful, it feels great! The pain and hurt we feel doesn’t come from love, it comes from our doubts, fears, anxiety, perceived rejections, broken trusts, anger, jealousy, envy, etc. So why do we as a culture lump all those other feelings in with love?
Perhaps its because we feel these uncomfortable emotions most often in association with our love relationships. Our primary relationships are important to us, so we assume these doubts and fears are all part of the loving experience.
When we are fearful, angry, anxious, unhappy, or jealous, are we truly experiencing a state of love? They sure feel different, don't they? Love feels warm, open, joyous and filled with a deep sense of appreciation.

pain is not at all bad....if anyone noticed...pain makes us more strong, gives us more strength....love alone makes us weak. Love makes us so dependent....pain makes us independent. Well, its just based on my experienced though...urs might be different.
