"They like pink, pink and pink, and they like purple, purple and purple.”

 ~Maxine Clark~

For days now, I have been trying to do this. I have sat in front of my computer not knowing how to start. And so I ask myself why would it be so hard for me to do this? It's just a blog for goodness sake! Fear. Yup, maybe that's the culprit. Maybe I am scared. Who wouldn't? I have been gone for like, two years and now this? But then,... I know there are questions. And though I can't promise to have all the answers, through this, I hope I could. So, here,... here I am,... this is me. I have changed in a way, but for the most part, I guess the "old me" still remains. Through pinks and purples,... I am me.

I like pink. And I like purple! Pink and Purple is a good combination, too, and quite like the fat blooms of the hydrangea near my bedroom window.

But what have you got to fear? What is the worst thing that can happen to you if you scribble down your thoughts? Nothing, right? Whether they will read it or not, whether they like it or not, these are your thoughts and you can continue to scribble them down as it is your right to do so. Smiley Well, it's the New Year...so ring in the New You --- fearless and full of self-expression. Express yourself, K!

Yayyyy, K! I can't wait for your next blog entry!

Happy New Year!

I went to the city today to take care of monthly stuffs as I always do every first week of the month (i.e. go to the bank, pay the bills, do the grocery shopping,  etc. and all the mundane household stuffs) that's why as I am writing this, my eyelids are drooping already for want of sleep. I am exhausted. I thought I'd get used to it already for I have been doing this for years now but apparently, I haven't yet. It's not that I'm complaining for I actually enjoy doing some of these stuffs sans the occasional headache and tired feet that I usually get from walking around the place for almost the whole day. But today, going to the bank alone was a nightmare! If you could only see the people standing in queue waiting for their turn, and I thought I was early enough not to endure it. I was wrong. I should've come the next day for I haven't realized the bank had a long holiday (from December 25th to January 4) which explains the never ending line of people. At times like these, one can't help but wish they're one of the bank's VIP's. Hahaha. If you are, then you just go straight to the bank manager and voila'... done. Oh, the privileged few,... how easy their life must be! ... But then again,.... I'm not complaining. Why should I? I have every reason to be thankful. See the books up there? I wouldn't trade that for the world.  Wink

I am not a VIP but my cousin works for the bank where I do my banking transactions in --- so, yeah...I get certain privileges.

I have contracted for myself your enthusiasm for the Twilight books, K. Now I can't wait to read it! I have news, too! I am now #31 out 55 (oh yes, the queue is growing) waiting to take it out from the library.

And oh yes...there are certainly a lot of things to be thankful for if we just are just able to see them.

(I hope to see a lot of strawberries when we go picking them today!)  Grin

Awww Annie, thank you, but really, I have a lot more to learn when it comes to writing. I can never write like Teamay, not even close. She is just so eloquent and she can capture images through her words. It may take a long while for me to achieve that I guess. But thank you Annie.  Smiley
