Al Lewis, known by most as Grandpa on the TV show "The Munsters" died at the age of 95. CNN says he may have been only 82. Who knows. As a child, I watched the Munsters on TV. He was also known for his role as Officer Leo Schnauzer on "Car 54, Where are You?". I do wish they would show that one on TV again. He even had a suprising candicacy for the mayors' office in New York City. He was a well loved restaurant owner as well. Goodbye, Grandpa...

I loved watching the munsters. I also share the same B-day as he did. Watching the munsters will never be the same. RIP Grandpa Munster!!
