Tragedy in Blacksburg, VA

I've been following this story this morning while finishing up my taxes. At first, the tragedy was limited to one dead and up to 8 injured. Now as events unfold, at least 21 are dead and over 20 injured. This is the worst college shooting crisis since the 1966 University of Texas tower shootings and has become the worst in US history. It is not yet known why this person did this but it is reported that the person was shot dead. Whether or not it was suicide or shot by law enforcement is not known. This is a major tragedy for all those involved in the Virginia Tech community. It will take time to find out all the details in why this happened but for now all we can ask is "Why?"

This news was all over the TV network and I have followed some of the stories. They even showed the pictures and some video taken of the suspect. It seems as if he hates the rich and was trying to make a point. He must be a mentally deranged person to perpetrate such a henous crime causing the loss of the lives of lots of innocent young people. Can you imagine sending your kids to school that morning and their parents thinking that their chiild was in school so they are safe all the while? Only to be informed later that the child was shot in the school by a madman? I think it's enough to go crazy!
