Do you really know the Bible? Do you read it? How it change your life and everything with connection to the word of Lord/God?

Yes I would say I know the Bible. I read it everyday to help me fight temptation and addictions I believe the Bible to be God written (inspired). I don't change or add to it. (Rev 22:18 and 19) Without it I don't know what I'd believe in.

I used to read the bible a lot, back in grade school and high school. But now things changed, i rarely read the Bible. I rarely attend those church organization that i used to be a part of. I'm still finding a way to reconcile all my belief system. Cause somehow my past belief was really changed big time.

funny it may seem...but why is it..its so easy to understand the story in a novel compared to stories in the bible. i've been reading from time to time, but it seems the evil is working double time on me...romance books sparkles when i see it but not the bible. but i still read...i know its the work of the darker side.

Well the bible is interesting to me. All kinds of good stories in there. I prefer the old testament cuz theres a lot of war and fighting going on. To me the old testament is all about the good guys and the bad guys. Good always conquers evil kinda stuff. Look at David and Golaith. This is your basic little pipsqueck(David) vs. the bully(Goliath). David takes his sling shot and kills this giant of a man with it. This is a good story about an underdog with David being the underdog. It says to me anything is possible. Saul was another dude that did some butt kicking but he let it get to his head. My favorite stories would probably be in the chapters of Samuel. The new testament is good also but its a different era there. Not as much violence and war but its all about change and love and peace with a few skirmishes cuz the romans and some rebel hebrews. Lot of politics during that time but Jesus was never part of it.
