Eldest? Middle? Youngest?

Birth Order a vital consideration, they say in can influences differences in personalities among children in the family.

GUESS WHO?

The FIRSTBORN:  ( Achievers and Leaders )

Until a second child comes along, family members and friends usually shower firstborns with attention.  As a result, many firstborn kids grow up with a lot of confidence.

THE MIDDLE:  ( Identity Seeker )

May feel that he was born too earlyto get the attention that the "baby" of the family gets.  Sometimes middle children have to try a little harder to be heard or noticed.

THE YOUNGEST:  ( The Happy Child )

Unburdened by the high expectations that many parents have for their eldest children, last borns are likely to experience greatere success than their siblings.

THE ONLY CHILD:  ( Self- Confident Kid )

Sometimes over-protected, sometimes pampered, onlu children often prefer their own company and have little trouble keeping themselves occupied.

Which on those are u?  Do u like it being the eldest? youngest? middle? or the only child?  and why? share some and post awayyyyyyyyyy..... Wink

What's your birth order?

I am my Mom and Dad's only child,.... I was an only child for almost 11 years, but then my Mom re-married, and I had three brothers from my Mom, and 1 brother on my Dad's side. I'm the eldest on both sides and the only girl.  Embarassed (that's why I wish so much to have a sister Undecided) sounds topsy-turvy huh?  Tongue

Kianna, I am the youngest and I was told by both my parents I was a mistake, but a good mistake. Both my parents probably think differently now though.  I think expectations of me were more at least from my father. My mother just wanted me to be happy.  Being the youngest does have its advantages. I got away with more stuff than my older brother and sisters did. Cheesy

I didn't know you're the youngest Joel... hmmm does that mean you were pretty spoiled?  Huh .... Oh how nice it is to be able to get away with anything  Roll Eyes ANyway, I think no child can ever be referred to as a mistake... Your Mom seems like such a great Mom, but I guess all Mothers wants the best for their child, all Moms want their child to be happy. My Mom used to tell me that. She never in any way stopped me from doing something, like what course to take in college. She's just always there to support me all the way. I know I'm not the "best" daughter, and sometimes I feel like I never thank her enough, or show her my appreciation for everything but she loves me all the same. I guess that's what being a Mom means anyway. Unconditional, Forgiving, Loving, ..... and everything

I would utter im the Eldest among 2 brothers and one sis...Though the real eldest who is a boy died when he was only 2 months old i think  Roll Eyes.. I like being the eldest but sometimes i feel the pressure of becoming a good model  to my bros and sis. And when i grew older...being eldest means a lot of things to me...Especially to my parents.  I become more responsive, more concern...i know sometimes im not a good model to them...lol.  I remember when my two brothers told me ...Hey sis! will u look to my wife for me? Then i said ...oh u have nothing to worry about bros...thats for sure... Wink And when they came home from a long long journey working outside PI ... My bros told me...SIS!!What have u dont to my wife??!! Now she  drinks a barrel more than me!  Shocked Angry Then i said...U want me to look for them right? lol! But the good thing is....Their wives become more hotter regardin sex ...buahahahhah! i gave them lectures eh  Tongue Grin

I am the youngest, yes it feels good to be the youngest although i was once called a black sheep of the family and 'til now i am still considered a spoiled bratt but i dont wanna accept i am.I think dad just loves me soooo much and that he's always there to give what i want, support whatever i say and plan. The only thing i am worried about is,i was not taught with everything ,especially being independent, since my mom died early, that people may blame me or my dad if i wont be able to stand with my own.I keep praying and trying, thats what all i can do.

Oh thats very sad news Nelson and i'm very sorry to hear it Cry..I know how u feel. It's still impossible to cure cancer so the best thing you do is to entrust your prayers to the Lord. I hope and pray everything will be fine with your father and so with you Cheesy..God bless.
