Should Women Be In The Household?

okay, do you guys think women should be in the homes taking care of babies and the men out doing the work and earning the money? should families all be the ideal home with the mother not working? obviously its not that way, but would it be better if it was?

I think either one can be home taking care of the babies. There are fathers who do stay home and take care of the kids while the mother works. Its a common thing here. I do think that at least one parent should stay home and raise the kids. I think the kids will have a better chance at being raised properly.

if kids are still kids, they need the parent's presence..but with the cost of living now, it's difficult to do that..hence, the best thing parent can do is to spend quality time with them after work.. and make them understand why both of you should work.. but if husband can afford...why not? me, i'd rather be with family than with other people.. but i agree with you matt... not only women can be in the household..men can too..only, sometimes they are too egoistic..and wanting to prove their worth..so being at home will make them less of themselves.. but hey, women can be a housewife and still at work ..it's only time management..

actually it all depends on the womans point of view. on my case i prefer to stay home and take care of my kids. but that's impossible at the moment considering that i have to help my husband in our finances. Not unless i allow him to work abroad.. but i dont like that. We're all happy and contented on our present set up so far, we have quality time with kids at night and on sundays as well and holidays!!!

my kid is almost 2 years old. my wife and i agreed that she will take care of our baby til 3 years old. and personally, i think its better that way to monitor every changes my kid undergoes. my wife can work if she wants to but she does not want to entrust my kid to our parents.

I would tell my wife to work more. I want a new guitar and she's going to pay for it. Also, if my wife makes more money then me, then great. I need a new amp also. Some guitar effects would be nice too. She's going to have to do overtime.
