I have decided to put an update to YaBB 2.1 on hold for the time being and to go with the YaBB 1.4 update instead. There are some software "mods" that do not yet exist in YaBB 2.1. I have requested a mod for the Chatroom on the Boardmod Forum for one feature that I think is important. After the Forum is updated to 1.4, I will be planning an upgrade to the Shoutbox on the front page. The update will allow the Shoutbox to be better placed on the page and the Chatroom area will look much much better. The Chatroom feature I feel is a fun thing, and would get used more if the front end of it was better placed on the page. The changes will be done in two steps, and I will give 24 hours warning (possibly more) in this group when I intend to do them. These changes are not simple and often are very complex. The Forum at that time will go into "Maintence Mode" while I download the entire forum, apply the changes and then upload the changes back up to the server. After the changes are made, I plan on a few more color changes to brighten things up here a bit, but I won't need to take down the forum for that.

Yeah, I'll keep blue as a base color, but will be moving away from the gray. I think a sandy color, with navy blue would be nice. I also want to work in a little dark teal.
