if im in the office....i really dont care how many times phone rings....im not gonna answer it 
at home? depends on my mood....glad my mom is there...and if it is for me and its not that important i will ask my mom to say im sleeping
but in good mood 2 rings is enough

I have caller ID, so I can see who's calling and if I want to answer it or not. Sometime I leave my ringer off and don't know someone is calling untill my answering machine comes on. If I'm in the mood to talk to anyone I'll pick up the phone while there leaving a message.
You never know when a bill collector is going to call and demand money. That's why I do it.

if am close to the phone one or two rings i'll answer it. but if i anticipate a call that i dont like...i'll have my nephew as my operator...he's cheap anyway!

I have call display, and I don't usually pick up the phone, no matter how many times they let the phone ring. Sometimes my friends will call me from places and numbers unknown to me. So I don't answer if I don't know who's on the other end.
Sooo tired of wasting my time with Telemarketers and the like. Bunch of Monkeys wasting my time Ehh

I have a caller id too..and my phone is right beside the computer. Sometimes I dont even notice its ringing when im busy typing or if I have music on. But I pick it after two rings everytime, if i hear it
