Today is Veteran's Day here in the US. I heard a roar of old airplane engines and counted 4 by ear. I ran outside to look and was treated to the sight of a DC3 Dakota followed by a trio of P-47 Thunderbolts following behind. The roar of the engines and the beauty of the planes were incredible. I grabbed my camera and took some shots. It makes me realize I need to pick up a better camera one of these days...

Yeah, in times like this the memories of the war comes back to hunt those who had been in it. I just wish more people can be compassionate in sharing the griefs and sentiments of those who have lost friends and families. I know some men who still cry in remembrance of those dear ones who died as they fought in the war.
