I wish to announce that I'm the proud father of a 1967 Rambler Rebel. Father and baby are doing fine. Pictures to follow soon!

Great to hear ree. Now tell us, how long were you in labor and how did it feel to pass one of those?

It took 1.5 days at 45 mph to pass it from Kansas to Dallas. Ouch!

Gave the Rambler its first bath this evening to get all the crud off of it from being stored for years. There is some bad gas in the tank yet and I'll have to put a full tank of gas in it with some Chemtool to start cleaning it out. One of the headlights burned out this evening as well. I also still need to know why the front seat is not going back far enough. I was told it may be "blocked" in position and I'll look at that next week. I am also still waiting on my antique car insurance quote as well.

Nope, it is car talk. I replaced all the burned out bulbs tonight and the car is ready for driving to the muffler shop. I got my quote for insurance and I'll sign the deal Friday and get my antique car plate as well.

All the dead bulbs on the car are now changed out. One marker bulb took a lot of work as the bulb was rusted into the socket. I had to end up making a sleeve to hold the bulb tight as the socket has a little damage to it. Tomorrow night, I will take pictures for the insurance company and I need to resolve why the carburetor is not getting enough air when the air cleaner is on it. Maybe the butterfly flap on the cleaner is stuck? I'll find out. If anything, I can take it off for now and drive it to the muffler shop on Saturday.

Ask and you shall receive... I need to recharge the battery and "degunk" the carburetor this weekend before I can get the exhaust fixed. I also added some nice hubcaps to cover the wheels. The car is now plated and insured as an "antique".
