I like that picture a lot. B&W photography can bring out some striking details that may get blurred in color photography. I guess that is why I enjoy Ansel Adams' work so much.

Yep Reebopbop...and b & w photographs and sepia make a very good impression on the eyes. Not a problem for those color blind too lol I've always loved sepia photographs. It has classic, old-world feeling about them that will never cease to charm anyone. I checked out Ansel Adams' works. Very interesting photographs indeed!

The Yosemite photographs of Ansel Adams are awesome. His black and white photos provided vivid details of the elements. Now I'm curious about his style...how he was able to magnify the clarity of the photographs by manipulating the tonality of the picture (through burning, dodging, and the zone system.) What is more commendable is his staunch support in preserving the environment, the natural wonders of the world, nature and all its glory. We hope there will be more like him who through their passions like photography would bring into the consciousness of the human spirit the symbiosis of man being in harmony with nature. ~~~o0o~~~ These are just some Yosemite Photographs by Ansel Adams El Capitan, Merced River, Clouds Vernal Fall

| Joel, good observation skills Yes the old train tracks go thru the makeshift shed with a bench on the tracks. These are tracks of long ago traversed by trains, but no more.
