Does Bruce Lee count as a sports figure? I also work for NFL Films and have met many football players at the Cowboys games. Dreams do come true.

Lets see i always thought Muhammid Ali. He did a lot for your first amendment rights in the United States. I dont think to many atheletes would do what he did just to prove a point. He gave up a lot for a good 2 or 3 years. They took his title away and didnt let him fight. That is a good portion of his boxing carrer specially when u are in your prime. Yes he had a big mouth and bragged a lot, but he was always missunderstood. It was all just a show and he was just promoting his fights by saying and doing the things he did.

lets see, first, bruce lee wasnt involved with real matches only movies, guess he wouldnt be a real sports figure, but myself, i would say for martial arts.. royce gracie the winner of UFC 1, 2, and 4 that was knocked out of 3 by the infamous hawaiian pankration artist "kimo", ken shamrock for trying to beat gracie time and again even though at his best he got a draw, the man is like a pit bull, unrelentless and more guts than brains also from the UFC i like tank abbott alot, though he is but a pit fighter from cali. ever since i was a small child, my favorite baseball player has been hank aaron, who is now the coach of the atlanta braves. for their humanity and contribution to the less fortunate, i would have to say kurt schilling with his lou gherigs pitch, he puts in 1000$ everytime someone actually hits that pitch into the lou gherigs foundation. for football, once again a coach, joe gibbs who is returning home to the washington redskins next year.

| Seriously...Do you work for NFL Films?? That would be such a sweet job. When did you start, and were you there for any of the Aiken, Irvin, Emmit Championships in the 90's?? My Hero would have to be Dale Earnhardt Sr. He basically took over the reigns of NASCAR from Richard Petty and built the sport into the second most popular in America, and growing so fast, within 5 yrs it will be first. He was THE MAN, mentally tough, strong, determined, and of course THE INTIMIDATOR. The number 3 will always be remembered, and maybe one day Junior might drive that black number 3. Well, that day is a long ways off yet, but I think he wants to do it, and I as a fan can't wait. In the meantime...I will continue to pull for that 8 car.
