I've posted this on Geeksters.org, and I will post it here too. What is your favorite piece of software and why? Also, is there an application that you love to use, and maybe it is not well known.

On Geeksters, I made mention of Dreamweaver MX and the new Quanta Plus for KDE. In the sweet and rather unknown app department, I just love NoteTab Light. It's just a simple text editor, but I sure can do a lot of editing with it. It is fast, lightweight and has lots of features. I used it in Windows 3.1 as well. Also, in the Windows world, I love Total Commander. I can do file management so fast with that thing and the FTP client works great when I'm uploading web pages.

dreamweaver is pretty cool, but, flash is alot more diverse, sometimes i get burnt out on flash though, like right now, i just made a site for aileng so she has all her stuff stashed away, but i dont have my own done yet, imma work on it in the next few days though, if you can get dreamweaver down, then flash really shouldnt be a problem, i use MX alot more than MX 2004 myself, i am a little partial to the plain MX line of macromedia.. besides, you can do everything you wish in mx, then open it up in mx 2004 and use the newer features, but then you cant go backwards.. one of the things i dislike about the new flash, is the components and how they work, thats why i still use MX.
