The buzz on the street is that Apple will announce a move to Intel today.

There is now speculation on whether Apple will actually move to a Intel processor or will Intel develop and manufacture new PowerPCs.  It turns out that Apple can leave with the intellectual property of the PowerPC if IBM does not develop new processors as promised.   Heady days indeed!
