I saw this on CNN this evening and it is incredibly funny and amazing. You can create quite a fountain by adding Mentos to a bottle of Diet Coke.

They were able to get a fountain 18 feet high! There are also videos to see there as well for those of you that can't believe it. Remember kids, if you are trying this at home, make sure you have plenty of space so you can get out of the way. The site also recommends Diet Coke over regular because it is not as sticky.
