Post by okasantina on Dec 28th, 2003, 7:57am My First day in AC1? how can i forget when my cuzin chelle invited me so many times to be in that room...as in everynight for almost a month, never went to any other room....till i got bored and tried to ride on her invitation....on a watching mode, reading all their convos, till i heard cuz singing! i love singing thats why i became interested on it... me will gonna sing w an audience ..... so thats it! LOL! ;D ::) YOU? How about YOU?? what is ure first time in AC1? and how was it....share it ok? its fun to know how it become a history..... ;) asusss!!! ngekkk! |

Post by mylane on Jan 4th, 2004, 10:42am ok cuz im still thinking about the first day cause my mind was all mixed and messed up during that time so i dont remember but once i remember i will surely post it...lol ;D this is the only thing that is clear in my memory: The reason why i became a chatter in ac was during my college days...i was graduating during that time and im having this internship so i can passed college...i was having a problem with my thesis...lol ;D my prof told me that i may not have a chance to graduate...lol....he said i shouldn't sleep for 2 weeks to finished my project...and redesign everything he said that my thesis was a trash...lol....hey i was really damn so pressured during that time...that i wanna chat than be sad... ;D thats the reason why i landed on ac one.....but my first day...im still thinking actually ;D note: hey i graduated anyway....not because i landed in ac one it is because i really didnt sleep just to make all those stuff....duh im glad or else....im dead ;D |

My first day in AC1, i met my good friend Dodo (Viva) and SUSAG. Then, Meyie, Giselle and Alex...It was so much fun, I had a crush that made me come to AC1 often....and he knows he's my crush (BEFORE) not anymore duh! It's TC, Tcnautilus...i wonder where he is right now...I met marieta, hugablecobra, slicey, jaycal, ciggy, beautifulworld (anne), mylene, heidy-0, diva, and more (sorry i cant remember the ids...but i miss them)...Geez i forgot LOOKY, the funniest guy when i first met him...i think it was in AC2, then he went to stay in AC1..There were a lot of booters in AConnections before, so what we do...we transfer from AC1 to AC2 then back and forth....IT was fun, it started a lot of friendship!!!! Then later on, as time goes by....new member that i am having fun with came...nani, tina, chelle, gracie, potpowetski, piggy, and of course all the guys most especially to papalou, bonz and capcap..hmmm i forgot more...kingkong lol...and more ok...you are include in more..... It feels like home AC1... |

I do remember lurking in the room for months now though. For sure, I remember Bonzi's voice. Man, oh man, oh man! I fell in love with his voice. I also recall hearing sweetpigletph's angelic voice. I don't remember what she sang, it was an 80s love song, I think. Since I am a celtic nut, I used to lurk in Ireland/UK rooms. I've been room hopping before, looking for a comfortable place to 'stay'. I noticed that among the rooms in the AC, only room 1 has the most English speaking chatters. Less crap and stuff. When I finally worked up the courage to come out from the shadows, it was Koki that introduced me to room. The warmth of the people has me coming back -- until I was 'introduced' to this forum. I feel at home and more comfortable here than on AC1. |

I was simply feeling lost and needed cheering up when an IRL friend told me about AC1. So I checked it out and it was Cookie who welcomed me. Then she introduced me to Nani and the rest they say is, history. I remember my first day too. As a newcomer, I didnt chat much but sort of like observe what was going on in the room. Everyone there was clamoring to view Dairy Lady's cam. I was wondering what the hoopla was all about. Someone was angry with Coby and Big Jimmy was on his downward spiral, as always. It was chaotic, I think. Timey was there, playing his piano, I think. Gramps was doing his Tarzan yelp. And almost everyone was talking about being booted. What the hell is a boot? When I was illuminated, I know I didnt want to talk to Wabbit because his ID sounded like he was a booter. If you stayed in the room 24/7 back then, the room had different groups. There was the morning group, the afternoon group and the evening group (Philippine time). Timey and Gramps are the morning group people together with Madd and Nj. The afternoon folks were Cookie, Nani, Looky, Grace, Early Gray and Dirtz. In the evenings, Nette would come in together with Viva, Kind Sophy, Piggy, Ces, Serens and Larry and we would all sing on the mic. The room was fun back then. There was no rampant abusing. Those were the days. |

I was bored and stumbled into Ac1. There i started talking nonsense stuff and one comment which brought me close to notoriousnous was " Americans are lazy people" boy oh boy did i get so much angry reactions coming from those ppl in room. LOL. Little bear was the one who was mostly affected by my silly remarks. I didnt meant to provoked anything but it was kind of interesting to see how this ppl reacted to chat. they take things very seriously. Well being a gentle lady as i have always been, i apologised to the ppl on mic in the end but little bear had me on iggy. LOL. the next time i was in there i chatted him up and he finally accepted me as his friend and guess what we became the best of pal ever. He is the sweetest person i;ve chatted in AC1 ;D |

I just graduated college then, and I was looking for a place(room) that I could stay and make friends with and I could never forget ate Nette, and other regulards that I could not remember the names anymore ( that was way back 2002). When they found out that I was only 20 then, they kept teasing me..telling me..OI BATA! UWI NA, HINAHANAP KANA NG NANAY MO( go home baby, your mum is looking for you)! waaaahhhhhh...at one point naiyak ako..hohoho, but then they told me that it was just like an initiation..parang frat! hehehe, and but I could not forget a good soul too...ate Meyie..she has been so nice to be from the start. But of course as I get to know everyone else.. bunch of fools..hehehe I am loving it..one of them now! |

Nelson and Starbabe we're fighting on the mic, I found my myself just listening and laughing lol that was hilarious. Mystro (Big Papa) was so kind and accomodating, he introduced me to people in the room. From that time, AC1 became a habit hehe I've made lots of friends there, not a perfect room (no such thing, anyway) but still the coolest for me until this very day :) |

Hey has anyone heard anything from errrrrrrr whats that guys name... celticgod ? LOL hes the worst stinking moron i've met for the first time and he almost ruined my chatting life for playing a possessive lover. I havent any clue about this one sided love affair of his and begged not to have anything to do with it. When he asked for a breakup i was still in a daze cos how to give him break that he wanted when we were never even together? LOL Send my regard to him and tell him I bear no grudge at all. If he wished to clone me more go ahead it would just made me notorious even more LOL |

Post by fairy75 on Jan 27th, 2008, 11:06am my first day in Asian Connections 1.... that was in 2000 and i was clueless and naive about chat but decided to venture out anyway. i went to the rooms and chose asian connections thinking it was EXCLUSIVE to asians. hah! what was i thinking....lol so, when i got to the room, people were using these absurd looking abbreviations of everything. i kept seeing LMAO as the room zoomed up. when i couldn't stand it any longer, i asked the room what LMAO stood for. this id --->> thescaleyone <<--- typed in ultra-huge fonts LMAO = LICK MY ASS OFF i swear i fell for it and was really mortified that people ACTUALLY kept typing LMAO...but 3 seconds later, someone was kind enough to say LMAO actually stood for LAUGHING MY ASS OFF. whew! as for the smart-ass who said LMAO meant something else, i'm married to him for four years now. :D |
