Title: Yahoo Chatroom Servers Down Post by ChAntiQ of NarniA on Apr 20th, 2006, 7:16pm Read this from another Forum Site: Yahoo Today removed YCHT/Java Chat from the web. It no longer exists. users may be experiencing problems getting into a chat room. until the Yahoo Inc Technical Department can resolve this issue everyone will have to do without being in a chat room. Nobody is in any chatrooms at the moment as they are all down. |

Title: Re: Yahoo Chatroom Servers Down Post by ReeBop on Apr 21st, 2006, 8:59am I just did a story about this on Geeksters.org: http://www.geeksters.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=477 It does appear that Yahoo wants to only support Windows systems officially. There are at least alternatives in the Messenger however. I mention one in the article. No alternative yet in chat room clients for now, but I am sure someone will work on one. |
