Title: Re: These Dreams Post by killerabbit on Jun 16th, 2005, 5:28am I am down with another chest cold and so havent been feeling so great lately.I lay down early and despite all the intterruptions from all the people sharing this house with me(Im the primary on the lease) peppering me with questions,I manage to dream a little.Weird, but I had of dream like it was the remake of the movie "High Plains Drifter". In the dream I or the main character in my dream was behind bars, like a jailhouse, looking out the window.I hear a voice(like in the movie)whispering "help me...help me.When I take a closer look...I see the face of Gregory HInes there. Then his eyes roll up into his head and as he is doing this,he raises his head upwards....until it changes into some mean looking aztec or mayan. Then it just walks into the jailhouse with me.After that I woke up. Any interpretations? |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Norkay on Jun 16th, 2005, 1:53pm LOL...interesting dream you had , my nam pangyao. ;D Anyway,It's hard to see the meaning of your dream.Maybe you are into cartoon movies eh? And gregory is already a dead person.LOL. What I only see from the story is that, you, by all odds, went with him into the jailhouse. It's like you're going into a place where you will be trapped :O Oh my, LOL. So I think this dream you had, wants to tell you to be very very careful with any descicion you gonna make. For example...LOL.... don't ever ever be tempted by me and follow me....you might be trapped! And that what jail means! Because whoever going to be with me as a life time partner would be a slave! And that slavery only ends when I decide to throw you away! Ahahahaha......scary huh? But hey, I guess my interpretation is quite right! ;) |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Saffire_65 on Jun 18th, 2005, 7:32am There are many interpretations of one similar dream within different culture in asia, for example for the pinays as what i was told by adela, if u dream of snake it means bad news because snake to them symbolises a traitor but for my culture if u dream of snake it means u are under someones close observation for future relationship i dont know if that is true and if u got bitten by a snake it simply means u are going to get a marriage proposal in the near future heheehhee ;D Any other other interpretation for that similar dream anyone? |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by thebeast on Jun 25th, 2005, 2:16am Saffie I have the amazing ability to control my dreams. All I do is right b4 I drift off I put a thought in my mind and wham I dream about that which I think of. I have no control over what happens just subject. When I am real tired and I dont put the thought in my mind I sometimes dream that I float around my house...I be floating all over the place.. then I float to the front or the back door and it opens and I float right outside...then I turn upright and I blast off into space. I not know how fast I am going but it only take a few seconds till I am in space. I am not scared about flying around in outer space and I am thinking to myself this is so cool. However, I do know I am dreaming...After a while I start to feel the need to go back home..I can hear someone calling my name but I not know who it is. I start to feel very strange a kind of empty feeling so I try to wake myself up..but I cant wake up.. But when I start thinking this I start to slow down then I drift back downward towards the earth and then wham I blast off again back towards the earth...then I slow down and float back into my house and back to bed and then I wake up. I only have this same dream 3 or 4 times a year and only when I am real sleepy or tired. Now I did do some research on this dream only similar thing I could relate to this dream is a dream of flying. Here is what it says it means.... Flying dreams fall under a category of dreams where you become aware that you are dreaming, known as lucid dreaming. Many dreamers have described the ability to fly in their dreams as an exhilarating, joyful, and liberating experience. If you are flying with ease and enjoying the scene and landscape below, then it suggests that you are on top of a situation. You have risen above something. It may also mean that you have gained a different perspective on things. Flying dreams and the ability to control your flight is representative of your own personal sense of power. Having difficulties staying in flight indicates a lack of power in controlling your own circumstances. You may be struggling to stay aloft and stay on course. Things like power lines, trees, or mountains may further obstruct your flight. These barriers represent a particular obstacle or person who is standing in your way in your waking life. You need to identify who or what is hindering you from moving forward. If you are feeling fear when you are flying or that you feel that you are flying too high, then it suggests that you are afraid of challenges and of success. In reality, we do not have the ability to fly. Thus such dreams may represent that which is beyond our physical limitations. In your mind, you can be anybody and do anything. Another way of interpreting flying dreams is that these dreams symbolize your strong mind and will. You feel undefeatable and nobody can tell you what you cannot do and accomplish. Undoubtedly these dreams leave you a great sense of freedom. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Saffire_65 on Jun 27th, 2005, 7:23pm Joel good thing that u dont live in a high rise building. It could be life hazard for you if u sleep flying. LMBO. :D ;D |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Wicked_Witch on Jul 7th, 2005, 7:02am I always believe that dreams are a glimpse of what will happen to a person in the future. Some kind of a warning maybe? I always dream, almost every night, except when i go to sleep drunk as a skunk. ;DBut i have the ability to wake myself up. When its a bad dream i just keep on telling myself that its just a dream and im ready to wake up and i always do. Trouble is, when i go back to sleep, the dream continues. So sometimes i have trouble sleeping. Funny thing is, when i wake up the next day, I dont remember some of it. But I know they are right there in my subconscious mind. I think this is also the reason why sometimes, we meet someone or go to a place for the first time and there's this feeling of "deja vu". Anyone ever had that experience? [smiley=wall.gif] |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Saffire_65 on Jul 9th, 2005, 7:29pm LMBO Keenscryche i bet you are too filled up for another breakfast tho. Hows the taste of your blanket? hahhahahahahahaha i'm laughing my boobs out . Hey just a suggestion, do remember to invest in an edible pillow too, just in case LOL [smiley=chef.gif] [smiley=crazysmile.gif] Hey Wicked Witch i like that id and my hotmail id is similar to yours tho. well i have had that dejavu experience too and its kinda weird when you had this feeling like history repeats itself or even some place where u think u' ve been before. Usualy those ppl who appear in your dreams are those whom you 've met before in real life. Several times i have had dreams where strangers whom i;ve never met or seen in my life appeared in my dreams. Will someone please tell me how could this be possible? Hi and tnx, Saffire. I consulted my book on dreams and it sez that these people are probably related to you in some way or another. But the sure thing is that they are linked to you. That's why they appear in some of your dreams though you have never met them in person. People who believes in past life and reincarnation can explain these things better, of course. |

LOL :)[/quote] I do not mean to give you cause to worry, but sometimes dreams such as these where you see a faceless person when you very much wanted the reality of it all can have a negative or a positive effects in your future. Sometimes not having a face to go with the body means this person may not be the one you are looking forward to marry but you will marry just the same for a different reason. But constant prayer can take out the negavite vibes of some bad dreams. And by working to even the odds too, like for example, you do more positive deeds than the negatives. Simple things like forgiving some people that has done you some wrongs, feeling good for other people's achievements, etc..etc...these are simple things but will have a great effect on our lives. |

I dreamed that there was this tall, good looking man thats having breakfast with us( my family). And he's face is really clear to me. And he is a caucasian about 28-30 of age. HOT GUY. So far as I remember in my whole chatting life or even my personal interaction with a foreign guys...I haven't met an attractive white guy that interest me. And in my dreams, we are sweet and he is holding me. Thats weird cause I'm not really into white guys. Can someone interpret this? |

Wow, Mymy! You have the complete details of this person in your dream!! Let me try and interpret this for you. I think it means there is someone among your acquaintances who is secretely harboring a great affection for you. And breakfast can be taken to mean he is coming soon into your life. You may not be into white guys as you said but sometimes what we wish for and what we get dont match. Love work in mysterious ways, sometimes they come from the most unexpected places, too. Your parent's readily acceptance of this person means he is someone with a good heart. |

Contrary to some beliefs, rain is usually a good sign in dreams. It actually represent blessings. But we all know that everything that surpasses the normal capacity or ability is bad. Henceforth, floodings in the same dream can be taken to mean that you will experience some turbulence in your life (family, not lovelife) in the future that will throw you off balance. But prayer is the best guidance of all. God will always test our strength but He will never desert us.I hope my interpretation will not cause you to worry unnecessarily, Tarantada. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by killerabbit on Aug 1st, 2005, 10:01am by Edgar Allan Poe (1827) Oh! that my young life were a lasting dream! My spirit not awakening, till the beam Of an Eternity should bring the morrow. Yes! tho' that long dream were of hopeless sorrow, 'Twere better than the cold reality Of waking life, to him whose heart must be, And hath been still, upon the lovely earth, A chaos of deep passion, from his birth. But should it be- that dream eternally Continuing- as dreams have been to me In my young boyhood- should it thus be given, 'Twere folly still to hope for higher Heaven. For I have revell'd, when the sun was bright I' the summer sky, in dreams of living light And loveliness,- have left my very heart In climes of my imagining, apart From mine own home, with beings that have been Of mine own thought- what more could I have seen? 'Twas once- and only once- and the wild hour From my remembrance shall not pass- some power Or spell had bound me- 'twas the chilly wind Came o'er me in the night, and left behind Its image on my spirit- or the moon Shone on my slumbers in her lofty noon Too coldly- or the stars- howe'er it was That dream was as that night-wind- let it pass. I have been happy, tho' in a dream. I have been happy- and I love the theme: Dreams! in their vivid coloring of life, As in that fleeting, shadowy, misty strife Of semblance with reality, which brings To the delirious eye, more lovely things Of Paradise and Love- and all our own! Than young Hope in his sunniest hour hath known. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Saffire_65 on Aug 4th, 2005, 8:42pm Just few nights ago i woke up in a pool of sweat. I had the most horrifying dream. It was similar to the dream I had few moons ago. I wonder why I keep dreaming of snakes. This time is a giant anaconda. At first it was green looking like a tree viper and then after that it changes into darker shade which i was not able to tell because of the bloody scene. Several villagers tried to stop the snake from escaping into the sea but their effort failed. The snake retaliated by attacking one of the man and it ended in a gory sight. It was damn bloody and there was death too. The snake which was badly injured too during the struggle eventually slithered slowly into the sea. I wasnt sure if it survived its badly severed snakey body but the man it attacked died a grotesque death. My friends of Chinese and INdian ethnicity shares the same view and interpretation that it means wealth and good luck. Hmmmmm wonder if what they said was true. :-/ |

You're dream sez that in the future, you are going to get into something big. It may be a successful business venture or an inheritance. And because of this, you will have a lot of competition. At some point, there will be death and destruction, because greediness is a part of human's nature. There will be a great struggle for power or possessions. But the odds are in your favor so it will be up to you to do something to retain your hold on that something. Good luck!! And may God be always with you. |

Post by okasantina on Jan 2nd, 2006, 8:20pm We all know that dreams are the mirror of our daily lives..wether its the future or our past....sometimes dreams can be subconsciously a sign for us to be avoided or it can be a sign for something good... Me in my own experience had so many incidents that my dream really happened.. too bad its all bad... and i dont like it! i even dont want to practice it too..duh sometimes i feel it...anyway...give some instances that ure dream had happened b4 ... or is there any dreams that its really odd ....sometimes black and white or colored....it has all meaning believe me ;) posttt awayyyyy :) |

Title: Re: DrEaM WeAvEr.......... Post by okasantina on Jan 4th, 2006, 8:18pm Ok ill start this thing to move ..... Have u ever dream of a snake??? Snake means ... a person who can be a traitor or stab ure back...once if the snake bites you....be aware of the days to come that someone will do harm to u ... duh its not physically but something like a situation that can be hard for u to solve....A person will give u a hard time, can be a traitor....But once a snake will just be there...moving around you....tells u to be aware for the coming problem. Snakes are not good in dreams. So if ever u dream of a snake...share it to others it might prevent u from a bad sign. :) |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Wicked_Witch on Jan 11th, 2006, 5:09am About two weeks before x'mas, a friend of mine invited me to visit a cousin who has gotten married six months ago. Her cousin is single while the groom is a widower with two kids and lives in the house with the mother and two brothers, and his kids of course. The husband's family has just lost their house to a fire in their area so they are now living together till his mother can afford to rent an apartment. While we were visiting, the cousin has kept complaining that she doesn't have privacy anymore since her in-laws came to live with them. And it pisses her off that they are sometimes very inconsiderate in what they do around the house. She has kept her silence coz she doesn't want to offend anyone, most of all her husband. But she says they are rude and lazy bums. And the mother-in-law make comments on everything she does. Which is irritating the hell out of her. And lately, she said she has been dreaming of the same things repeatedly. She said she dreams that someone is trying to force entry in her bedroom door. And it's the same dream everynight. And in her last dream, she saw her mother-in-law threw her things away and pour out the contents of her bag on the ground. Now she has become very nervous coz she sees this dream as some kind of a warning that her life is in danger. I sat there all that time without saying a word, just listening to the facts. And trying to analyze what her dreams meant for her. When my friend turned to me for a comment, I told the girl that her life is in no way in danger. She was having these kind of dreams because of the emotional turmoil she was having when she's awake, or in her everyday life. And it's not a warning by any means. It's a message from her subconscious mind trying to show her what to do in her present situation. I told her that her dreams about someone forcing entry in her bedroom door means they are trying to invade more of her privacy. And her dream about the mother-in-law meant that she has overdone it invading her privacy, commenting on everything she does and says in her own home. So I adviced her to stop worrying about her life being in danger and do something about her current situations and I assure her the dreams will go away. I posted it here coz I got a call from my friend last night and she told me that her cousin is very happy now with her life. That a week after we visited her, she had a long talk with her husband and told him of her problems. And the husband was very sympathetic. Said he's not aware of what is going on in the house since the wife has not told her anything about it. So they lent her mother some money to make a downpayment on an apartment. My friend told me her cousin is very happy again now and that the dreams has stopped visiting her. Then my friend asked me how I know what to tell her cousin. I said "secretttttttt!" ;D |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Wicked_Witch on Jan 16th, 2006, 7:48am I know this is a late introductions already about dreams but I still would like to explain what dreams are and why do we have them and maybe do some dream interpretations for some if they care to post their dreams in here. My conclusions are based on some books that I have read although if one would make a thorough research on the subject, you will notice that authors have different interpretations of dreams and its meanings. So I just pick the majorities since they all agree or are alike in their interpretations. DREAMS are the most fascinating and more intensely personal and uniquely ours voyages that our minds and spirits take while we sleep. It maybe confusing, alarming, relieving, enlightening, amusing or comforting. We have these dreams when our subconscious minds are trying to send a message to our conscious minds about something we are experiencing or having while we are awake. Like worries, wishes, or some future occurences. Dreams are a gift, even the nightmares. That makes all of us a psychic, though only in some degrees for some, unless they do something to fully develop that gift. There are two stages of Dreams, the REM (rapid-eye movement) which is the lightest stage of sleep and the Non-REM which is the deeper form of sleep when eye movement and other muscle movements are almost non-existence. It is at the REM stage when we dream and it's when we can always remember our dream when we wake up. There are 5 types of dreams, the Prophetic Dreams when we see the future in our sleep. The Release Dreams which visits us in our sleep letting us know that even in the worse scenario we can imagine, we will survive whatever it is. The Wish Dreams which is exactly that, a wonderful reflections of what we want, or at least what we think we want. The Information and Problem-Solving Dreams which gives us the solution to our problems as soon as we wake up. And lastly, the Astral Dreams where our spirits leave the body to travel. It is believed that even before a spirit incarnates, it has already written in a Life-Chart the spirit's Exit Point (meaning how the spirit would leave this world] and that no one can do anything to alter it or change it. Or God would have given you enough information in your sleep to prevent it. If anyone has a question regarding this topic, please feel free to post it here. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Justine on Feb 19th, 2006, 4:04am Losing a tooth is also believed in our place to be a bad thing, like losing someone we know.... I have a friend who interprets dreams but he already left the country. Sometimes it interests me how people do interpretations of dreams. Lately I have been having dreams of my car getting hit, car accicents. Wonder what that means... |

Hello, sistah. Sorry it took me a few days to reply to this. Cars are very common in dreams and they have a variety of meanings. They can be past-life memories, or early memories of this life. Because the primary purpose of cars is to get us from Point A to Point B, dreams of being in a car indicate a transition in your life. Dreaming of car accidents does not necessarily mean you were having a prophetic dream or witnessing the future in your sleep thereby forming some kind of a warning. You did not mention if you see yourself in your dream as the one driving the car so I will just assume you are. And since you were driving, that means you are in charge, or being responsible, or being in any potential fault or blame. It maybe something has happened in your life recently to which you continually blame yourself for. The car "accidents" are a simple subconscious fear of losing love or connection to someone, or of not being able to meet their standards or of your failure to give them what YOU think is expected of you. Don't worry about those dreams, sistah. Car accidents in dreams should only be scary if you see your spirit in that dream leaving while the body lay unconscious. Hehehehe!I hope I have put your mind at rest. Funny though that in real world, dreams of losing teeth does not mean death but just a warning about a person's health. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by wildheart41004 on Mar 4th, 2006, 5:47pm According to dreamland dictionary: The car in your dreams stands for your current actions. The movement of the car is the way you are trying to make progress in life and the extent to which you feel in control. If the car in your dream has poor controls or missing parts, it would suggest that your sense of control over current conditions is being compromised. If you dream about driving an unknown car, which seems not to be familiar to you, and because of it you may feel a lot of frustration, could possibly mean that you are going through the change of your life conditions like changing jobs, experiencing first pregnancy etc. Also, the way you drive a car in the dream reflects the style you are using to go after what you want. Car parts also have specific meanings and all other symbols in your dreams should be considered. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Levy on Mar 22nd, 2006, 5:11pm A quote from my blog about my dream one day, just to share with anyone here and ask for any interpretations you may have ;D. ***************************** 1.18am, Sunday, 5 March (CET) I just woke up from a bad dream . I dreamt that i was standing in a closed shed or barn and i saw a snake looking directly at me. I was very scared and nervous. Of all animals, i really am scared of snakes. I've seen several in real at my parent's place in the Philippines when i was a kid and it always gave me goosebumps just by thinking about a snake. In my dream, i told myself to stand still, don't move and just wait for the snake to leave. I was shaking a little bit and was waiting for a while when suddenly a colleague appeared. And then i shouted (in my mind) that there is a snake and then i nervously ran outside. I was really shaking from this and when my colleague came out of the barn, i asked him if he killed it. He said he did...all three of them. I then saw one of the snake's head crushed and it was dead. At that moment, I woke up with a heart beating so fast I could barely breathe. And I couldn't go back to sleep anymore . I think that in my whole life, it is very seldom that i remember most of my dreams. But what i noticed is that when i dream of something about a snake (one worst one was a VERY BIG snake which bit the part near my left ribs then i woke up shocked coz i thought i already died), swimming in an ocean, sea or beach with waters changing from high tide to low tide or vice-versa, and jewelries, I tend to remember them when i wake up. |

Hello Levy... this are based from my experience and i just wanna share it w yah... snake in dreams means to be stabbed by someone behind ure back, it maybe a warning for you, it maybe a comin problem from a friend, family, or colleagues, it can be a problem at heart. Snakes in dreams is not a good sign. However, its good that a colleague of ures killed it...but the truth is...a colleage might be a great help for your coming problem in the future .... we can never know...im not saying i have this 3rd eye ... lol but its always a sign for me of warning and awareness. Just look around you whose the real friend and not. Well at least the snake died in ure dreams ;) Im gonna share to you about my dream about a snake a big snake which is inside the microwave oven...imagine that! that snake didnt even touched me....so my interpretation to my dream is....the food that i intake to my body is not good....meaning that time my sugar went up! and i couldnt even hardly see cuz of my blurry eyes...so for me its a sign of warning to be careful of my health.... Its up to you on how u can interpret ure dreams and it will only depends on how you handle ure life as of now and ure plans in the future... ;D |

Hi, Cindy ;D. Let me try and interpret your dreams for you as best as I can. First off, I would like to explain that snakes are not a bad omen in dreams. They do not even represent the evil sides of it. Snakes in dreams can be interpreted as some sort of a warning or a reminder. Sometimes we are so caught up with our fear of snakes in our conscious minds that we tend to overlook the real meaning or significance of our dreams. We wake up scared and automatically assume the worse. The way I see your dreams, it meant that there would be some big changes that is going to happen in your life. Some big decisions you have to make wether you like it or not. You stand there just looking at the snake because you can't seem to make up your mind on what is the best step to take. You need a second opinion or even third. You want and need someone to make that decision for you. And when someone you trust stepped in, you are going to let that person make the decision for you. Hence, in your dreams you ran outside, left the friend inside to battle with the snake. And when the person has killed the snake, it means the decision has been made by that someone and you are free to carry it on.This is just my own interpretation of your dream. ;)[/color][/b] |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Levy on May 3rd, 2006, 10:40am Last night I dreamt about elevators. I went to a building with someone (a guy who i forgot who) and we were supposed to go up to the top floor but then what happend was he went ahead of me. So, I was looking for another elevator to go up. I went into one but unfortunately it does not go to the top floor - which in that dream was the 14th floor. When I reached the last floor up with that elevator, I stepped out and asked people how I could go up to the 14th floor. They told me to go down again and get another elevator that will go straight up. Then I woke up. I wonder what this dream means. ::) ::) Can anyone share their interpretations? :) |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Wicked_Witch on May 9th, 2006, 9:33am Sorry, Levy. I always overlook this section of the forum coz I thought no one has posted here after the last one. Anyway, here is my interpretation of your dream. Your dream about elevatores shows the discontent you are feeling at the moment. It can be about your life, about your job or about a relationship. You crave for some changes but you don't know how to go about it or what to do about it. You tried to but the end result is not to your satisfaction.(This was the first try wherein you ended up on the wrong floor). Hence, you keep on looking for a way to get to the 14th floor which signifies that something you want to achieve. The elevator in your dream is you. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by thebeast on Aug 10th, 2006, 2:26am Okay...the dream I had a few nights ago. I was at work and I was giving this doberman pinscher a physical. As I put my stethoscope on his chest area to listen to his heart...the dog bit the 5th digit of my right hand off. As the dog was consuming my finger...blood was all over the place and I was screaming in agonizing pain...I screamed and screamed...but nobody came to see why I was screaming. I rushed to the sink and grabbed some paper towels to put some pressure on the place where my pinky used to be. Blood was all over the place and the dog was smiling. I yelled for help but still no one came. Then the dog started to gag and threw up my pinky finger. I grabbed my finger out of his vomit and started to try to put the finger back on my hand. I knew if I could get to the hospital in a hurry they might be able to reattach it to my hand. So I run out of the exam room and there is no one in the whole clinic. Where did everyone go??? I am in incredible pain. I then run outside and there is no one to be seen anywhere. I get into my car and start to drive myself to the hospital. I am screaming and screaming. I realize I am dreaming at this point. But why am I in such pain. You cant feel pain in dreams. Gosh this dream is really painful I say to myself...I need to wake up. So I force myself to wake up. When I wake up I am still in pain???? Well the pinky on my right hand somehow lost circulation to it and it was asleep. I hit it with my other hand and got circulation back into it and the pain was gone. |

Title: Re: These Dreams Post by Wicked_Witch on Aug 16th, 2006, 6:10am Hello, Joel ;D I knew there is something I have to check in this thread but I keep forgetting about it. If not for the new topic about ghost stories that I want to open, I would have kept on bypassing your dream. Soweeee... :P anyway, here's my interpretation of your dreams. Dreams usually represent our own life situations, be it the past, the present or the future. Joel, dog are known to be man's best friend, right? In your case, the dog in your dream represent someone you fully trusted if not your bestfriend. It's someone you maybe trying to help or win over to your side. This person is very significant in your life, it can even be your daughter. The problem is, this person says different things when you two are face to face but says the opposite to someone else. More like a case of "biting the hand that feeds you". You're finger that has been cut off means you have or will be alienated from people that matters to you because of this person. The blood represents your family or people you deeply care about which means that a lot of people will get affected by it and will probably cause a big rift. When you went outside, you saw no one which means they have wash their hands off the situation because you won't listen to them. You wanted to get yourself to the hospital because you believe the situation is salvageable, so you will try and find a way to patch things up because you are terribly hurt by their indifference and confused over what happened. If you keep having the same dreams though in different froms but you always end up in pain, it maybe a warning so watch the people around you. :-* |
