Title: THE RIGHT WAY TO LOVE
Post by mylane on May 23rd, 2004, 9:41am
What is the right way to love? too much or  less?

When you give yourself too much, the tendency is to expose much of yourself and may be taken for granted.

Same as when u love less, not actually love less, but show love less, you may be thought as a jerk or watever.

Post away ;D

There is no right or wrong way to love... one just loves but i guess what you have to remember is loving someone is always two way (not unless if it's unrequited love)

When you love someone, you also respect that persons individuality ,  you acknowledge that he / she was a whole person even before this love blossomed. and you have to let him/her continue being that whole person,  that whole person that you fell in love with.

Loving does not necessarily mean you get joined at the hip and you leave no room for other friends to come into your lives. It is also distance and separateness loving is being together but not letting your heads and hips and arms and other body parts bump into each other too much.

loving is space. loving is respect. loving is accepting.

Love less or love more? if the relationship ends because u love him less or more..that will give u things to ponder?  will he not leave if i love him more or love him less?  Avoid giving measurement to ur love one.  Love him truly and unconditionally if possible.  At least if relationship ends, u can say to yourself......i'm giving him the best love i can give maybe my love is not meant for him. Maybe your love is not enough for him but then that's all u can offer, so maybe the right man will come along to settle what u can offer.  Dont try hard, love is not trying hard.....u only have to be urself!

The right way to love is to just love, without expecting anything in return and without demanding from your loved one. Loving is about accepting the person entirely, regardless of this person's flaws.

the right way to love is to love the person unconditionaly. Yes we see lots of traits in our loved one that makes us smile n happy like when he is so sweet such a gentle man. But you have to keep in mind that a person always has a bad side and if you can love him when he is irrational or irretating or even when he just woke up n looks and smells like hell then thats what i call love. Loving also doesn't ask anything in return it doesnt matter who loves more as long as you know you love him/her.

I love taking care of my man.. cooking for him and making him feel special. I lived with someone for a couple of months before. My friends told me that i do so much and my man is treating me like a maid. But that is not the case. I loved what i was doing. Cooking n cleaning and making him happy. I didnt do this because its my obligation but i did it because i wanted to. That made it much easier.... I should have told them that my guy did the laundy n ironing since i dunno how to do that  :P ;D

The right way to love is loving a person for who she/he is and not for what he /she has or not for any reason.Love like the way we want us to be loved.
