It was announced that Michael Crichton died due to complications of cancer at 66.  I really enjoyed his works including Andromeda Strain, Congo and Eaters of the Dead.  He did much more such as being involved in movie and television writing and production.  He was also responsible for the long running NBC series "E.R.".  His most famous work however was his book Jurassic Park which also spawned a successful movie franchise.  His work will be missed.

Couple of months ago I saw the Andromeda Strain....great show...

I also love ER...very intense show...everytime I watch that show it gives me an irregular heart beat...

Wow 66 years old... :'( definitely going to be miss.
