Okay, me first, I am just dying to read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Ive been to National Bookstore twice this week already but it's still out of stock. I just have to read it before the movie's shown in cinemas here in Bicol. So you know what I did, I turned to e-bay. And just last night, before I went to bed, I was wearing this dreamy smile, knowing that in a few days time, I'll have the book in my hands because I was the winning bidder, but wouldn't you know it, when I checked my mail this morning I was outbid! Oh, the cruelty of it all ! And what hurts most is that I lost the book for 5 pesos. Haaaay, kainis talaga! Anyhow, I'm bidding again. Hope I win this time.  :-[ I just got to read it!

These arrived thirty minutes ago, (10:30 am), and pardon the over enthusiasm but I can't just wait to share with you my happiness! Finally! I am sooo happy right now I feel I can't wish for anything else. Lol! But really, I'm beyond words. See, even Kianna's happy about it! K, that's enough, have to start reading! Be back soon! ;)

Its a great books.  Book 2 is slow though.  Book 1, 3 and 4 is amazing.  I read them all with 2 weeks.  My sister-in-law recommend to get these books and I couldn't wait.  I didn't see the movie though...I heard some reviews from my niece and SIL.

K and Mrs NJ:

I'm not much into Vampire stuff but now you two have peaked my curiousity. I "might" read the first book --- as soon as the long reservation queue for it at the library is gone. Right now, there are about 37 reservations for the first book!

I'm "dying" to read a book on the collected poems of Rumi.

Noli Me Tangere

I am embarassed to say that I have never read this book, preferring authors from the other side of the world. Yet, while reading Book Smart: Your Essential Reading List for Becoming A Literary Genius in 365 Days , the author included this in her essential list and included to say that American Novelist William Dean Howells "knew the book and praised it in 1901 as a "great novel" with a sense of "unimpeachable veracity." "

Now can anyone send me Noli Me Tangere(translated by Harold Augenbraum)? ;)

Hi, Mrs. NJ! Glad you liked the book too. I am on my last four chapters of twilight and I'm gonna watch the movie next week. After that, I'm onto book 2.  ;)

Teamay! Please do read it! ;D I know there are some parts that you may find "corny" (laughs!) but for the most part, you'll be giggling, and feeling giddy, and mushy. D'you remember what's it's like when you first fell in love? Or what it was like in the first few stages of a relationship? If you want to revive the feelings you get from that, read Twilight Teamay. ;))

I can understand your niece Mrs. NJ, it's just inevitable sometimes to feel that way especially when you have read the book first. Why, I felt that way too about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban, I was really disappointed about the movie that time. But anyway, I guess I have to see it for myself then. My friend loved it and she says Rob Pattinson's really really manly and seductive with his piercing eyes and all. She have not read the book though so she cannot really compare. I'm excited to see the movie because all I can remember of Robert Pattinson was his clean, good looks in HP4.  ;)

Have a great time and no droolin allow...jk.

Sorry for the delay I didn't feel too well today....

I just got this --haha-- because I was holding the "Twilight" book in my hand yesterday. Didn't get it though because it was a "hot pick" at the library and costs 4 dollars for two weeks. I'd wait until the buzz dies down and borrow it for free  ;D

:-/ :'( Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. You can just imagine my disappointment when I found out yesterday that the movie's showing date has been moved on the 25th of December. I was at the cinema as early as I could get to be there, only to be disappointed.  :-/ How cruel!  :P Oh well, the downside of living in the province. I can't wait to get out of here. Lol. Anyway, 2 more days. I can wait. (I guess...)

Teamay! Awww, if only I could lend you my copy, you are more than welcome to borrow mine. This is one of those times where I can't help but wish we're neighbors! If we are, then I could read Silk and Written on the Body too! I've read the synopsis of the book online and it's got me soo intrigued now Teamay.  :D

Annie! I've seen it! I've seen the movie today. Um, I did like it but, I liked the book better. 'Just that I wish they could've played it by the book. I just feel that there are some vital parts that were omitted and some alterations as well. But then again, when did they ever play the movies "exactly" from the book right? ;) I guess I could appreciate the book more because the feelings you get from reading about the conflicting emotions and the intensity of Edward and Bella is just soo different than what you get when you see it in the movie. Though! I should give it to them that the "kiss scene" was really, really good. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. It's one of my favorite part, oh gee, it was just soooooo intense and romantic you'll find yourself squirming in your seat! (laughs!) And don't forget Rob Pattinson of course. His eyes! (sigh) You could get lost forever just by staring at them. He really is so goodlooking and sexy.

You are right.  Thats what they (My s.i.l & niece) told me also they prefer the book more than the movie but can't resist Edward... :D :D  My s.i.l couldn't stop lookin' at Edward.

He is my favorite vampire also.

Did you hear the news that Edward (Rob) cut his hair really short...and lots of females going crazy...

(Giggling) No, I haven't yet Annie. But I guess even though he did cut his hair, he would still look good.

Now that I have read the first two books of the Twilight saga, I can't wait to read the last two installment, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn. I just can't help but wonder what's next for Edward and Bella.

I do not really know if I am dying to read "Twilight," but I must say that my curiousity has been peaked. I have reserved the book at the library but there's a long queue ahead of me: I'm #41 out of 41 people who wants to borrow it!

Haha

At long last. I thought the books got lost or something for I was expecting it since the 30th of December. But apparently, the courier had been closed since then and just resumed their business hours today, so the delay. Anyway, it's worth the wait I guess. I just can't wait to read it.  :)
