A federal judge in Portland, OR found that parts of the Patriot Act were unconstitutional.  In federal district court, Judge Ann Aiken ruled that "probable cause" searches that are guaranteed by the Fourth Amendment were being circumvented by the Patriot Act.  There are more details about this on CNN.com.

It is good to see that a federal judge has taken a stand to see that some of our rights are given back to us.  Will we get "habeas corpus" back someday as well?
