Title: Re: Is it God's will when you get pregnant? Post by Analyn on Dec 15th, 2004, 12:07pm No... it is the will of two consenting adults or two consenting under-age-curious-kids... One can't say that God willed it, for God was not around when your egg cells and sperm cells met :P...unless of course if both of you have been doing it for years , 10 + years so to speak and still you can't form a baby... then it's God's will that you should get pregnant...It's a miracle isn't it? If i get pregnant I won't blame, praise or thank God for it... but I will pray that He will watch over me and my baby... how I wish that God's will be done that I get pregnant...even without a father...hehehe...now if it's God's will, let it be done with me... ;D |

Title: Re: Is it God's will when you get pregnant? Post by norkay on Dec 16th, 2004, 7:23am If you get pregnant,it doesn't always mean it's God's will.If you are a legal couple,i would say yes it's God's will. But if you got pregnant by rape,by your boyfriend or by cloning,i don't think it's God's will. It's God's will, however,to give the baby a chance to live instead of killing for whatever reason. We should remember that God has His plan for every life. |

Title: Re: Is it God's will when you get pregnant? Post by gracia on Dec 16th, 2004, 10:59am now....no violent reactions about my opinion please... I do believe that everything happens for a reason. And you may disagree with me, but i do believe too that everything happens in accordance with God's plan. If you remember the Bible phrase about Peter whom was denying Jesus thrice....and added quote to that was........it happens to fulfill of what was written. In this case, i do believe that every human being has book of life and everything is in there, past, present and future. It's quite complex and for me one has to have a deeper understanding about the matter, but that is what i believe in and i don't want to debate about it...it is in accordance to God's plan if one got pregnant. |

Title: Re: Is it God's will when you get pregnant? Post by norkay on Dec 16th, 2004, 12:18pm Ofcourse this should not go into debate....but this is cool, this is what we call sharing and it's good if we can all participate. God has a plan for all of us.What plan is that? Ofcourse it's a right plan. But we were given all our freedom and we sometimes follow our own choice.God ofcourse doesnt want us to choose ours because He knows His' is the right one but He sometimes let us because our flesh is weak.Well, getting pregnant at our own choice of time or way sometimes oppose His will or His plan.He wants us to get pregnant according to His plan-that is at the right time. What i am trying to emphasize here is that, the way we wanted to get pregnant is not God's will (if we got pregnant and think it's not the right time) ,it's not accordance to what He wants to happen. He always wants everything to happen at the right way or at the right time. But once we chose to follow our choice,He sometimes let us go on then let us see and suffer the consequences although from the time we made our choice,God has already another plan for you and the baby.God HAD a plan for us,that was changed when we followed our own choice of way of getting pregnant. The conclusion i can give here is that, God has a perfect plan for all of us,but if we fail to do His plan,God has always a plan for everything that happened.God let us learn(includes suffering the consequences) from our mistakes while He plans what's next. |

Title: Re: Is it God's will when you get pregnant? Post by Analyn on Dec 16th, 2004, 12:43pm NOOOO... it can never be God's will...but of your own volition and consent...unless there's rape... which is the "rapist " will >:( As what I've said...it's only God's will if : long-married couple miraculously have a baby after years of trying to make one... It never is God's will that one make love or engage in sex but of your own will and sometimes the "lust's will" ... wanna agree to disagree? ;D |

Title: Re: Is it God's will when you get pregnant? Post by mylane on Dec 16th, 2004, 12:59pm it's God's will if a woman gets pregnant but i guess it's not God's will anymore on how the girl gets pregnant...ahihihi ;D |

Analyn, i dont know if you're replying to my idea.If so, i DID NOT say the rape was God's will,OFCOURSE NOT,BUT God has a plan after what had happened. Quote:
I agree ;D Quote:
I am confused with this. Why does the term "long-married couple miraculously have ababy after years of trying" and not "legally married couple"? ;D By the way, i like your avatar....love to pinch that cheecks ;) ;D |

Good point there Mylane.Every baby that was made, wanted or unwanted,God has always a plan. It's just sometimes our way of having them (by temptations)that is not God's will. |

Title: Re: Is it God's will when you get pregnant? Post by gracia on Dec 18th, 2004, 4:14am Okay here's another point of view from me: Trials and difficulties...that includes rape, getting pregnant as people say not in proper time...and more.........God did not plan all that, but He permitted that to happen to test the person, to strenthen the person, or for whatever reasons that God has, in order to make that person realized. Some person take trials and difficulties as a challenge, some attempt suicide or worst, had suicide. God gave us the mind, to decide what's best for us, but one has to pray in order to have the gift of discernment in order not to fall. However, one can never has a bed of roses kind of life...there's always trials. God always permitted trials. But on the other hand, not all rape victims got pregnant? not all young lovers who engaged in premarital sex got pregnant? not all were given the chance to bear a child? Isn't that God's plan? I, most of the times got confused, but God is always a mystery, no human being can ever solve the mystery. In times of confusion, i'll pray. |
