I dont find out what something costs till i get to the cash registar then if its expensive i say damn it costs that much but i say what the hell if i like it and its what i want so what. Im brand conscience about the food i buy also i like a certain kinda milk like bordens and i dont buy the generic spam i buy the real spam. That generic spam tastes like shit. Helmans mayo/frenches mustard/lever soap in a bottle/peter pan peanut butter/heinz ketchup/sarah lee makes a damn good  pecan coffee cake i eat that on sunday mornings/eggo waffles. Im not particular about beer as long as its cold. Let see laundry detergent thats no biggie for me i just buy the cheapest i see but i dont spend a whole lot of time looking i dont think saving 10 or 20 cents is that big of a deal. I like gateraid i drink all that stuff dont even matter what flavor it is. lol lets see what else. Well the point im making is yes i am brand loyal for some items but not all. ;D

Good question..."am I Brand Conscious"?

I would have to say yes. I pay close attention to three things.

1. Quality
2. Price
3. Brand

And pretty much in that order. When it comes to clothes, I like to mix and match the labels. I have no set rules, other than it  must look good, cause that is important to me. I find I get the best results from buying several "branded" items and then add in lesser know things like t-shirts and the like.

My everyday clothes consist of faded blue jeans, shirt or sweater, stylish jacket. Simple yet stylish.

There are two main areas where I like to buy "branded" items.

One is suits, I really like the more expensive suits, Hugo Boss, Georgio Armani, ect. I think that if you have to wear a suit, then you better look good. I thank my lucky stars that I don't have to wear one every day, that would be very expensive. But in a bussiness environment you only get one chance to make a first impression.

The other is business casual. That means shirt and tie matched with a pair of pants. Here again I think it pays to buy a better qualty of shirts and ties. This can get outta control when it comes to shopping for these items. I just bought a couple of Armani shirts that was 289$ each, and matching ties 169$ each. It really doesn't hit home till you get the credit card bill..lol. ;)

I agree also Joel. I also buy non branded products but after using them for like once or twice, I don't like them anymore even if they  still look good. While those branded ones,I always like and am comfortable to use them even if they're already seen old especially jeans and bags.

;D ;DFYI only!!!Most of the well known brands they are using the same manufacturing to do their labels...and lots of times, generic names also use the same manufacturing companies to do their labels....so basically, for marketing purposes and tactics, we pay X amount of money for the same quality but we pay more for the well known name...so depends on ppl choice and how good they market their product ;D ;D ;D

This is true. I was talking with a dude who works for a golf ball manufacturer in Massachusetts while playing golf in Los Cabos. He told me that they make golf balls for Nike, Callaway, Titleist, and Ping. So theres not a whole lotta difference between golf balls.

There are people who wear branded things but don't really look good wearing those.  As long as you can carry yourself with confidence with whatever you wear, I think you'll look just fine.  I appreciate branded things but I'm not really brand conscious.  I like going with the trend and I would wear anything of fashion that I would feel comfortable with.

only with what I apply on my skin. Quality and good results counts. so invest in something which will give you results not just the labels cos others cant see what you apply on your skin until they see the difference. I'll recommend Clarins for a wholesome total body and skin care. Have you tried the bust cream and its sculpting body lotion? I'll rate them 10 out of 10. whats more the mild herbal fragrance gives u a quick perk me up in the morning  ;) try it you'll know what i mean  8)

Yes, I agree. When it comes to body cosmetics, I trust more the quality of those expensive ones or the branded ones, especially facial. Also, on accessories, I have proven they are more durable. But if I know, I will only use that accessory for a couple of time, I prefer to buy the local ones.  Like for example party dress of gown. ;D
