Tina...Do men wear make-up? :o.... ;D I don't like wearing make-up.... just on occasions like when I'm a bridesmaid on a wedding or I'm attending the university's acquaintance party and proms but that's just about it... and I try to wear make-up as lil as possible.... I just use lipgloss and face-powder.... and sometimes a lil pink blush :) Brands?... Tina u should try Clinique's glosswear for lips... it's shimmery and sheer and it just have the right pink into it... you can wear it alone or over lipstick as well... ;) I use clean and clear face powder... natural, it makes face oil-free...and looking fresh :) for blush-on I use Avon's true color powder blush duo....coral myth and cedar rose... it's subtle and it lasts long... ;) |

I do wear sunscreen, bug spray (when the bugs are bad in the Spring), cherry flavoured lip balm with UV A&B protection, Avon Skin-so-Soft in the Winter for dry skin. |

I've tried Herbench' prettywhenpinched natural blush...'tis really nice and one thing about it is that it's not the usual powder type of blush-on...it's like cream and u just put a lil on ur fingertips and apply in in ur cheeks evenly and ur all set... also try herbench's colored lipgloss.... nice one too ;) |

I only use a face powder (johnson's) some lip gloss (Red Earth) and eyebrow pencil (revlon) and I put it on in the morning before I leave work and retouch only if at night i'll go out. I only use make-up on special occasions lol! Wedding and some biggy parties lol with the biggies lol! I hate putting on mascara, using the eyelash curler, and putting on some blushers I feel like a clown. Oh but when i'm in a daring and sophisticated mood I put on my RED lipstick I love my revlon lipstick ;D |

Post by Saffire_65 on Oct 1st, 2005, 3:38pm When you say make up are you just refering to foundation or base makeup? well a good base or foundation will provide protection for you skin against the harsh uv ray and also from dust and grimes in the streets from penetrating deeper into your pores. Invested in a good base or foundation close to the color of your complexion and you will still look flawlessly natural. Of cos it all depends on how you blend them to every part of your face too. That will do the trick. To avoid it from looking cakey or heavy do without the loose powder during the day and dab it lightly with oil blotters to prevent it from shine. Always choose a waterbase foundation. It glides smoothly like satin and gives you less shine. Select a natural tone of blusher to give you a hint of sun kissed cheeks and brush them over your eyelids too. Finish your makeup with a touch of a nude colored lipstick. For those ladies who has very fair skin like snow white try the bronzer to give you a hint of natural tan on your face and neck . You'll look good and flawlessly healthy complexion all day long ;) 8) |
