Im an avid collector of music on cd. and im working on a dvd collection now also. I collect old watches as a hobby. I have a lot of old watches most dont even work but i can always get them fixed one day i guess. U can find old watches at antique stores and rummage sales and even online now. I buy a lot of candles also but u cant really call those collection items cuz u burn them.

When i waz 16 yrz old...i uzed to collect ztampz!!  I love looking at them w different dezignez and zhapeZ....LOL!
I remember my Uncle who iz workin at the zea uzed to zend me diff kindz of ztampz eh....i framed it! ;D


But now i only collect watchez and perfumez ;D ;D

When I was younger I collected stamps, stationeries and books. I still have my books though and have added quite a few that my shelves are overflowing.

Now I'm buying more cds and dvds and they're growing everyday!

perfumes, shoes is my colletions but want to start collectin elephants figurine thats the closest i can get to have a real elephant as i dreamed of havin elephant as my pet 8)

i used to collect new coins and sometimes new bills...but now i stopped after i can't use the hundred coins that i collected... do you know any antique buyer?hehehe...those are coins for  year 1997 i think

i'm into book collecting now... but it's expensive... so i accept donations... but limits to inspirational books, general interest and novels only...

care to donate yours? hehehe

Analyn, I have always wondered about how old money works in other countries.  Here in the US, very old coins and bills can still be used as legal tender.  Anyone have a 10,000 bill to donate?  ;D

Ree, here in PI old bills and coins can no longer be use  as legal tender, but banks will replace our old bills and coins... but i can't go to the bank and have my hundred coins replaced...unless it's 100:1,000 ... wanna be the first bank to do that here?  ;D

Before, I collect beetles. (Ha! I wish I'm referring to cars) By before I meant, some 4 or 5 years ago. Don't get me wrong it's not a passion of mine. Must be my curiosity of a 5yr old. Everytime I see a beetle, I'd pick it up and put it inside a plastic bag or any small container in sight. When I get home, I'd excitedly show the fine specimen to my nephews. Afterwards, I'd put them in this small bottles of baby food. One beetle per bottle. Yeah, I'm such a nutcase.

That's not all, I'm afraid. Ummm I used to play with errr small frogs too. Oh dear. No, I'm not such a freak really. What I do is trap the unsuspecting half-fist size of a frog into a bottle. Again, showing it to my nephews. I just love to see the expression on their faces when I give them a good find.  

Now that we're all grown up -- my nephews and I ( ;D) Stationeries and everyday cards pile my closet. Oh, I collect choco tin cans too. I have SO much junk in my room.  ;D

I don't know if you can really call it a collection :P but I just noticed I have quite a number of them already. I love shoes, sandals and slip-ons mostly, bags as well, I didn't mean to collect it's just that I have lots of them now if you add my bags way back in highschool, though I already gave away some of them. My Mom used to send me bags (still do) so I rarely buy ;D (to which I'm thankful).....perfume and cologne too I guess and perfume bottles, I find it hard to dispose because some looks cute. I have quite a number of music cd's as well. I just love music. I collect poems too ;D

i collect Barbie dolls collectors edition.... i got 55 pieces then, but i dont remove them out of their boxes, im quite disappointed b'cuz i cant ripp off Barbie's head cuz its a Collector's item ....  >:( >:(

i also collect some anime  items from action Figures to photo cards and manga .. (japanese comic books).from Samurai X to Mazinger Z and Voltes V these are vintage toys few more yrs if i will sell them, i'll be a 1 peso richer than my DAD  8) ;D 8) ;)

I love to collect coins and bank notes ...i even iron them(notes)before i keep ;D.I love to collect wines...can anyone send me more from there? ;) ;Dhe he!

Really Dale? hmm..LOL!...yes,i love to colect those cute ones but i sometimes dont wear them,i just love them displayed inside my drawers.I love those kid style ones ;D but ofcourse adult size ;D hmm I like that kitty smiley,i hope i can find one like that,i got the piggy one ,u know...piggy face infront and a breaded tail behind ;D...So what do u have there? Well I don't have any with me RIGHT NOW...lmao, because I only buy them when I am in a serious relationship with a special Gal. But that is one of the things I miss most....going window shopping then just wandering into an "undies" store and letting her pick and choose a few things. MMMMM...... Heaven. [smiley=kiss2.gif]

A nice thing to collect is AMBER - translucent  (brown, red or yellow in color) fossil resin of coniferous trees, usually used to make jewelries or ornaments.  I heard some people are starting collecting things made with Amber, especially with the scarcity of Rubber trees.

I just noticed my collections of giveaways at weddings, bday parties, houseblessings and other occassions. So I bought a glass cabinet for them. Now they share a cabinet with my angels. ;D Very colorful and interesting to look at.

LOL, Tinz. Yes, sure Tinz. Any possible way? I would like to.  ;) Pahingi din bag mo. LOL. But oh no, my problem too, not because of not having space to keep but I can't really take care of them. The last time I looked for other bag to use, I found out they're coated with molds...yikes, and each of them was even put in a cloth bag.

Awww Krissy those bags are so wasted.... :-[ you can still use it if you want to...you can keep your forgotten bags lol by just keeping them clean b4 you keep then in a plastic bag.  Bags will sure get molds or fungus lol! when you just let them out of your cabinets or in just junk place or bodega eh ...Some of my bags especially those with "sentimental thang" bags are kept on plastics ... so until now i can still use them if i just feel like using it...and also me thinking my kiku can use it in the future....hahahahha kuripot ba?? lmao!  OOOpppps! am i in the right thread...were talkin about bags eh  ::) :P ;D

I collect perfume...hhhmm...can't get the pics because I left some in Jakarta, but I have some bottles from CK Contradiction (I love it sooo mucccchhh), Gucci Rush & Gucci Rush 2 (another fav parfume), Lancomè Miracle, CK Euphoria (a gift from my husband in my last birthday, CK Eternity, DaviDoff, and Clinique (couldn't remember which one it is)

Hmm..I only have 4 perfumes here, and the rest I left it for my beloved sister ;D ;D ;D

The subject caught my attention....

I have so many let me begin fossils, tree sculpture, burmese trinkets, BOOKS, diary/journals, waterglobes, shells, letters/cards from family & friends....its endless...I took lots of pictures of my collections....

I collect it because growing up we don't have the space or the means...now that I am married and I have my own place and my own money I have to pamper myself...

I also collect jewelry boxes, paper weights and more....i have endless collections.  i also collect stones/pebbles/rocks, different sands, tree sculpture, and many many more...

I recently picked up this antique radio from eBay.  It is a Zenith 7S633 table top AM/SW radio from early 1942.  It is one of the last consumer radios made before Zenith switched over to war production.  It does work but the volume is a little low.  I will start on replacing the power cord, the dial lamp, clean the chassis and tubes and reset the tuning dial.  Next step is to replace all the capacitors and for a finishing touch, replace the speaker grill cloth.  I also will be building an AM transmitter kit so I can listen to old radio shows through it.
