Maintaining cleanliness, of course. Doesn't matter how small or simple a house is as long as its all clean.

I just want some peace and quiet in my house but having a big family it is never so.

Having waterfalls or mini falls or even just a fountain inside the house would be nice too.....the sound of water, splashing and flowing can be relaxing.

sistah...remember what i said about decorating my bedroom and/or living room with tiny banks with running water below the walls? :P and painting the wall with a pic of a beach complete with wavy seawater and cocunut trees? forget people's pic in it..they will crowd my house! Thats right Justine they say the splashing of water from a fountain eases stress and tension everytime ure hearing it....thats why some of the households have it inside or outside at home...some have their own aquariums cuz by only looking at those fishes swimming relaxes mind really.... ;)

I have 3 fish tanks (2 fresh waters and 1 salted water ). I love the sound of the fish tanks and of course looking at the fishes. It does relaxes you.

Always surround myself with books...lots of books everywhere.

Always have plants in every room if possible...unless there is no light than of course not. always make sure you have enough natural sunlight coming in...always open the door/windows for some fresh air even on cold days...it get rid of the stale air inside your home...

Try to purge whatever you don't need and surround yourself with arts, music, food, family and....
