Title: Chernobyl Pictures Updated Post by ReeBop on Mar 29th, 2004, 9:49am In posting Geeksters.org News this past weekend, I found that the Chernobyl motorcyclist pictures have been updated. These pictures are really something to see if you have never seen them before. I posted earlier about how they affected me, and I still feel this way. I think the site was down for a bit, but, it may be back up now. This site is important....very important....about some of the evil things we can do to ourselves and our planet. Things that we thought that were safe and that we could trust. http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed/chapter1.html |

Title: Re: Chernobyl Pictures Updated Post by ReeBop on Apr 5th, 2004, 8:02pm Well, it's a different feeling than when viewing scenes of the Holocost. The Holocost and the mass killings in Rwanda were pure evil. This however was different. That area in the Ukraine was changed for the next 900 years by a simple error during a testing procedure. It was a case of science and technology out of control. |

Title: Re: Chernobyl Pictures Updated Post by madd on Apr 6th, 2004, 6:51pm You know, we got along just fine without nuclear reactors. New technology does not necessarily mean it is better for us. |

Title: Re: Chernobyl Pictures Updated Post by ReeBop on May 27th, 2004, 11:19pm Geeksters.org went down when I moved. My T1 connection has been delayed for up to 3 weeks. I will try to get it running on my webhosting operation when my home DSL connection goes live. [smiley=oops.gif] [smiley=juggle.gif] |
