Title: Cyber Sex Crime Post by earthlingorgeous on Aug 15th, 2005, 12:16pm Well Well Well Well Its been all over the news for the past several months. The Philippine government for one wants to sack the perpetrators. Many foreign "investors" are linked in the business...while the young and some not so young Filipina are the "goods" sold. What do you think? Can we erradicate cyber sex crimes or just another publicity stunt? Post away guyz. Personally I don't think the Philippines have the capacity to monitor cyber crimes what more cyber sex crimes ... jeez |

I even saw it on television on how the EnglishMan had that kind of business here. I remember i saw some of it here in net, and some Filipinas are really nude while chattin, and their customers are paying them through credit cards. I knew at the start that they are Filipinas, of course by the background of it...and alas! when the time that the NBI found out their hide out and saw it in the news....i told myself so this was the place i saw b4 in net.... How else can anyone who can afford to pay just to have cybersex would enjoy doing it when they can buy sex for real? Where is the satisfaction in that? Heck, for all they know they have been cybering with gays masquerading as women? |

Title: Re: Cyber Sex Crime Post by kim on Feb 27th, 2006, 10:03am Ok forst of all let us make a clear line between Cyber sex and cyber sex crimes... cyber sex does not involve money and it is solely for personal pleasure. While cybersex crimes involves money. I understand that it is not a crime to be cybering because of the technicality that it is not prostitution since there are no actual sex taking place. But in some cases you pay for the act and you get to view two ppl having sex. I dont htink that they will solve this problem soon. Since they should pass a law specificaly for this... Or is there already a law that was passed for this? I'mnot really sure. If any of you can answer pls do so. |

Title: Re: Cyber Sex Crime Post by Wicked_Witch on Mar 3rd, 2006, 1:57am So far this topic has been put aside again by our lawmakers to give way to more "pressing" issues. So no law has been passed....just blah...blah..blah... |

Title: Re: Cyber Sex Crime Post by kim on Mar 3rd, 2006, 9:26am Well thats pinoy politics mama witchy... If it aint hot it wont matter... Media has a lot to do with it. Sensationalizing those issues they think that will sell better |

Title: Re: Cyber Sex Crime Post by Wicked_Witch on Mar 12th, 2006, 5:36am My point exactly, Kimpot. In order for their magazines or tabloids or newspapers to sell they have to sentationalize everything. No wonder we always get exaggerated comments from those that are not living here. But of course we know better. ;) |
