recipe for leche flan hehe

Custard:
12 egg yolks
1 can condensed milk
1 pint Vit D milk
1 tablespoon vanilla (lemon essence or peppermit can be substituted)

Caramel
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Method
Caramelized sugar
Put sugar and water in a saucepan. Caramelize in high heat. Line loaf tin with caramelized sugar. Be sure to line the sides of the pan.

Blend the custard ingredients in a blender. Pour mixture into a loaf tin lined with caramelized sugar. Cover with aluminum foil. Place tin in a larger baking pan half-filled with water. Place pan in pre-heated oven (375 F) and bake flan for about 1 hour or until it is firm.  Actually my mom-in-law steam the leche flan instead so i guess steaming is ok too.


ps i have not tried this recipe before but the other recipes from this site are ok i have tried them.

lettuce and salad dressing, or coleslow. and fresh fruits likes ;D mango, pineapple, melon, banana and  a lot more.

Not really a big fan of dessert, but if I had my choice it would have to be chocolate cake or maybe a fudge brownie covered with vannila ice cream and some chocolate sauce.

I only eat dessert when I go out to eat.  Im a southerner so I go for pecan pie with vanilla ice cream on top and caramel bread pudding with vanilla ice cream on top. And wash it down with a cold bud light. ;D

Not a fan of dessert either, just like Dale.

I more on a coffee gal after every meal. I'm not into sweet foods.

Having dyspepsia won't prevent me from having cheesecakes!  ;D I'm not too big on any other cakes though.

fartsy my specially at the cafe is blue berry cheese cake :D actually is my fav too. there are two types, the baked n the no bake type. I love the no bake type coz i can eat it semi frozen... I love strawberries too so i just bake or make a couple of cheese cakes n place it in the fridge n eat a slice with what ever topping i prefer any time of the day...  ;D

Ohhh...I too love Chocolate Mousse. Very Decadent stuff when made right. If I am out at a restaurant, this is usually my choice to top off the meal...but it gives me a certain "Side-Effect"...it makes me Horny. JK...lmao. well opera cake is a layered chocolate cake, with lil choco cream n all omg so yum yum yum...
the best opera cake here is in shangrila hotel ;D u should try thow dale hehehe ;D it makes ma tongue dancing ;D lol

Dancing tongue  :o.....i love to dance so much......i wonder how my tongue dances   ::)...i still don't know, i only know it's naughty!  ;)  but can be evil too, hehehehe  ;D


Anyway, there's always ice cream in our ref. either yam or mango flavor. I love the Tiramisu cake as well (geeezzz my mouth's watery) with wine ;D
