Title: Taste Test The New Coca Cola C2 Post by thebeast on Jun 15th, 2004, 4:44am Coca Cola C2 is the new soft drink put out by Coca Cola. Half the Calories Half the carbohydrates = ? Maybe half the taste. I dont know yet havent got a chance to taste it. When I do I will post here. And all you water drinkers or pepsi drinkers, please give the new coke a taste test. Your taste buds and opinions would be greatly appreciated. |

My addiction is so severe that I have now resorted to drinking coke from the can because it tastes the best, and is sooo good in a tall glass filled with ice. The Colder...The Better!! Since I don't drink coffee, this is my pick-me-up drink of choice, and I can't stand Diet Coke, tastes like Pepsi..LOL. [smiley=laugh.gif] I will watch out for the newest version...and give it a try. I will however buy just one bottle, because of the mistake I made with Vanilla Coke...I bought a whole case. To my horror Vanilla Coke tastes like Cathy's socks...Yuck!! [smiley=furious.gif] |

Title: Re: Taste Test The New Coca Cola C2 Post by thebeast on Jun 16th, 2004, 10:56pm Tried the new coca cola c2 today. My taste buds noticed a little less kick to it compared to the Classic Coke. A hint of after taste was present probably due to the lack of sugar and the substitute of sweet and low or some other sugar substiute. I also notice that I didnt want to burp after chug a lugging half of the bottle so less gas effect. No I dont like it better than classic coke, but it wasnt that bad, I could get used to it and its a hell of a lot better than any diet drink you can put your bottom dollar on that. :D |

I found an 8 pack of cans last week after looking Far N Wide to procure this caffeinated potion. I found it was just as advertised. The taste wasn't as sharp and refreshing as the Original Coca-Cola, and not as flat and Bland as the Diet Coke. I can certainly detect the half portion of sugar. Maybe that's good...Maybe that's bad. I did detect a slight "Metalic" aftertaste. But hey....Can anyone put a price on looking thin?! LOL...it's just tastes toxic...No Problem! ;D I just hope it doesn't aftect the 'Fro Growth. It promises to deliver all the same Great Taste of the Original Coke with none of the Calories. Hmmm...Isn't that was they said about C2? ::) I will have to Taste this Coke Zero out for myself. A Taste Test to follow (If I can find the Stupid Stuff). ;D |

Dale, I do see the new Zero product and I'll give it a try. I like the Classic, but it isn't the same as it was before Coke started messing with things in the 80's.
