I overheard a news story last week on a news channel, so I did a little digging. Yes, decaffinated coffee is bad for you:

I love coffee. Coffee, loves me too. I cannot imagine a world without this lovely drink. However, I do not have an affection for decaffinated coffee. Would you really like to drink something that has been processed with formaldahyde? I think not. Thank goodness we have found out in the past year that regular coffee drunk in modest amounts, has health benefits.

Well Beth, I would now stop drinking decaf :D I'm glad I rarely touched the stuff. I have fallen in love with Chai tea though...
