Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To watch Post by thebeast on Feb 28th, 2004, 10:03am Saw the Passion of Christ last night. Everyone should go see this moive whether u are a beliver or not. I was kinda worried about the subtitles because i dont like movies with subtitles in them. Well i didnt even notice them. The sentences were so short and they were not even used through the whole movie. Listen this movie is mostly about the graphical nature of the treatment of Jesus Christ. When u see what is happening u forget about everything else that u like and dislike about movies. Mel Gibson deserves the acadamy award best director in 2005 for this movie. He put it together in a more interesting way that made the movie better than other movies about this event. HIs use of symbils and backshawdowing make the movie original. |

Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To watch Post by thebeast on Apr 17th, 2004, 11:14pm I seen volume 2 of Kill Bill on Saturday. This one is just as good as volume 1. But volume 2 didnt have as much violence in it. It was more drama and just plain funny stuff. Hell i liked it so much i bought the dvd of Kill Bill volume 1 and both the soundtracks on cd after i saw it. A lot of people dont like the way Quentin Tarantino makes his movies. He tends to jump around a lot but to me this is what makes it intersting. Also the way he takes themes from the 70s martial arts films and makes them into movies of now. Thats all the Kill Bill movies were are 70s martial arts/samurai movies made in the 2000s. Well Uma Thurman finally kills bill with the 5 point palm exploding heart technique that Pai Mei taught her years ago. |

Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To watch Post by thebeast on Aug 10th, 2004, 5:42pm Another movie i missed at the big screen but saw on DVD was Hildalgo. I heard about this movie and didnt get a chance to veiw it at the theater. A true story about Frank Hopkins(a cowboy/texan) and his horse Hildalgo(a small mixed breed mustang) going over to the middle east and beating all the larger arabian horses in a 3000 mile race through the dessert. This is a similar movie to the oscar nominated Seabeascuit movie that was up for best picture this year. Its a good family movie. See a lot of horses, arabs, and native americans in it. I say thumbs up |

Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To watch Post by thebeast on Aug 14th, 2004, 7:08pm I saw 2 movies this week. Collateral and Alien vs Predator. Collateral is a good film. Bad guy(Tom Cruise) kills all the bad guys and Good guy(Jamie Fox) kills the bad guy(Tom Cruise). Tom Cruise hasnt been in any good movies lately except for The Last Samurai. Collateral is a good movie but kinda slow in some spots but then picks up again. The scene in the asian bar is a terrific scene with bad guys shooting at good guys with a whole bunch of club goers in the middle who probably get shot as well. You have to watch it close to figure out who is good and bad. I liked Tom Cruises character a lot but I really liked Jamie Fox Character. He should be nominated for an oscar for best supporting actor i think. This is a good flick that im gonna purchase when it comes out on DVD. Alien vs Predator- dont waste your money. This is by far the most stupid movie in the world. The plot stinks. Yes it has action out the butt but it makes absolutely no sense. First of all these monsters cant talk so humans have to point the obvious out through the whole movie. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I liked the Predator and Alien movies but this one really stinks. |

Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To watch Post by thebeast on Aug 18th, 2004, 1:23am Need theres a whole lot more that happens. If u didnt know the bad guy was gonna get killed sorry about that, but bad guys usually get killed in movies about 90% of the time. Sorry but dont let what i wrote keep u from going. lol What i wrote is basically what i read in a reveiw in the paper b4 i went to see it except for the asian bar scene thing and the oscar nomination thing. lol |

Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To watch Post by thebeast on Aug 27th, 2004, 11:10pm I saw Hero tonight. I was totally wrong about this movie. this movie was released in china back in 2002. Quenton Terantino didnt even direct it. It was made by the same people who wrote Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. QT makes all his movies with Miramax Films. The asians that made Hero couldnt get the larger Hollywood movie studios to back the movie up. So they went to Miramax Films a smaller company. Miramax executives asked QT to edit the film for release in America. QT watched the movie and said "This is a good movie it dont need to be edited."lol It was a good movie, but it had subtitles, which i dont really get into. It has a good story and beautiful scenes in it. |

Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To watch Post by thebeast on Nov 27th, 2004, 7:21pm Saw Oliver Stone's Alexander last night. It was an epic movie. It was good but not great. It's a 3 hour movie so in my opinion it was to long. Lots of homosexual references through the whole movie. Alexander the Great first wife has some large breasts. lol |

Title: Re: Suggestion What Current Movies To Watch Post by Fart Knockers on Sep 26th, 2005, 6:39pm Roll Bouncedireceteb by Malcom LeeDrama, Romance, and comedy all in one. This is a pretty funny movie in a way that kids started bullying to each other but its the only way for them to get through to get over the influence of their social environment..however, there are lots of lesson to be learn while watching they way they joke around. This is a nostalgic spur of Linda Blair in Roller Boogie and the combination of the influencial disco craze in the 70's. Lil Bow Wow's, portrayal of X is pretty good and amazing i think..hmm those lips are pretty good besides rapping though....He has grown .. the lil Bow Wow we used to know is now young man. :) :) ;D ;DTwo thumbs up for me on this one!!!!
