After 4 hours or more of frustrating work, I have done the following:

1. There is a new Instant Messenger interface for members. You will be allowed to have 20 messages in your Outbox, 20 in your Inbox, and save 20 messages. Also, you will be able to send a IM to 20 percent of the members. Let me know if I need to change these numbers.
2. There is now a Quick Reply box for posting. You can quickly post and reply to any message in the forum.
3. For Admins, there is a new management tool for moving threads.
4. The latest security patch 1.3.2 has been applied.

As for thread speed issues, I cannot duplicate what some of you are seeing with long threads. I looked at some posts on the main YaBB forum and we haven't even come close to limits on the software. If you are seeing some speed issues, you may try the browser Mozilla or Opera and see if that solves your problem.

I have also set the clock of the forum to GMT ( Greenwich Mean Time / Universal Time ) because of our many members around the world.
