Title: (10/24/2005) Why People Get Banned... Post by ReeBop on Oct 24th, 2005, 9:42pm Now that my temporary work is over for October, it is time to go through my "non-essential" e-mail. Here is an interesting e-mail from Forum user "mojaveman"... "you f**king assholes ban me from here i didnt do anything to deserve that u biased discrimatory f**ks ill sue ur asses for all u got ur f**ked be waiting to hear from my lawyer assholes!" First of all Mr. Mojaveman, this is MY website and MY forum. It is obvious you failed to read this section of the what you agreed to when you joined MY forum... "You agree, through your use of this YaBB forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law." Your post was inaccurate, abusive and hateful to a particular user of this forum. Behavior of this fashion resulted in your post deleted by me. It was clear to me that you joined this forum for one reason and one reason only and that was to harass a single user of this forum. Since that was the case, I banned you immediately. This behavior will not be tolerated by me at any time. This will serve as a warning to anyone else wishing to come here to harass, threaten or defame anyone that uses this forum. If you think I react irresponsibly by these actions, I would advise that you start your own forum, create your own rules and carry on in any fashion that pleases you. We now return to our regular programming... [smiley=soapbox.gif] |

As a member, you are expected to understand that the same rules of respect, understanding, and cause-consequence that apply to real life social environments apply here as well. If you can't follow the rules just please don't register. Thanks |
