I have successfully rebuilt the 1freeworld Technologies Instant Messaging Service. I haven't gotten the IRC portion to work at this time, but all other items seem to be working. You can download a client from the link on the page:

Please keep in mind, you can also link into your favorite Yahoo ID with any of the software. There are clients in Windows (and experimental ones in Linux) that are voice and cam capable. There is no voice chat room support at this time. I can say however, that there are no bots! There is a permanent room setup named Connections but users may setup any rooms as they wish. Please let me know if you have any questions. Help me to test this thing out!

To get started easily and if you are in Windows, try out Exodus. Here is the link:

http://jabberstudio.org/projects/exodus/releases/download.php?file=exodus_0.9.1.0.exe

Download and install that. Here is a link on how to configure it:

http://www.avvanta.com/ExodusSetup

Just remember to use my server name of imchat.hopto.org instead of the avvanta.com server name.
