Title: Thank you for your concern for Chemere the Cat Post by ReeBop on Jul 24th, 2004, 8:21pm Thank you for everyone's kind comments and concern for Chemere the Cat. I will be getting the lab results tomorrow, and it appears that she has serious cancer and it has finally caught up with her. She feels much better after being hydrated at the vet's office. Her pain has decreased a lot and she has started drinking water on her own. I hope she will start eating again. I will do my best to make her last days happy ones. |

Life is full of let downs and trials, but there only for a limited time. I'll keep you in mind and as always, you can call me anytime you want. You have to be strong for your other cats, they need your guidence also. Hang in there, we're pulling for Chemere. |

Oh how I wish I was able to be be online that day and see Chemere on cam. If only I had known that she'll not be around that long already, if only I had known that I'll never get the chance to ever see her. :-[ I'm so sorry Chemere... I'm sorry I missed the chance to see you before you left.... Ree,...I never had a pet, though I wanted to have one. Circumstances kept me. I'm asthmatic and I'm allergic to them, but I have relatives and friends who's lucky to have them, that's why I know that pets can be part of someone's life, and I know that losing a much loved pet can be just as hard as losing a human family member. When you have loved a pet, a part of them will always remain in your heart. I know it's hard letting Chemere go... You talked so fondly of her, I remember you once said that Chemere is a world-renowned cat :D,...she's been with you for 14 years... it's not easy. This poem is for Chemere: Remembering Chemere (1990 -2004) A soft full tail, exquisite eyes, soft purring at the door. Playful tugging, frequent naps, toys strewn across the floor. With gentle rubs and playful purring you made your presence known and knowing you were always there Ree never felt alone. You loved it when he scratched your ears. He swear it made you smile. He could never stay angry with you, He couldn't even if he tried. The soft sweet purring now has ceased no gentle rubs to greet him. Just memories of a special friend and good times are all he'll see. Although Ree miss you dearly He'll try not to feel so blue. Because he know that there's a heaven for special cats like you. Ree misses you a lot Chemere but he knows that you're in a special place now where you'll not be in pain anymore..... He will always carry a special part of you, and will always remember you with fondest memories.... :-[ |
