What do you do when you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant?

As long as it's not going to bite me, I will shoo the animal away  and maybe feed it something else?

Why me? Why not her? ;D

Cathy, count your blessings...be thankful it's not on our forehead or  that the hair in our nose don't grow as long as the hair on our head!

Seinfeld joke:
Women will shave their legs,
their armpits,
pluck their eyebrows...etc
...and then buy a fur coat.

Accroding to Carl Sagan and Richard Dawkins, hair under our arms may have been "intended" to retain body odor as a type of aphrodisiac.

The mustache, beard, underarm, and pubes are a particular type of hair optimized for concentrating and dispersing pheromones. The special sweat glands underneath these types of hairs do indeed produce pheromones.

Umm no thanks.  I'll use other sources of pheromones then LMAO!  [smiley=crazysmile.gif]

Why is yawning 'contagious'?

Wherever it is or whatever it is it all in our brain, it bypasses the known brain circuitry for consciously analyzing and mimicking other people’s actions.

In line with the nature of contagious yawns as automatically released behavioural acts—rather than truly imitated motor patterns that would require detailed action understanding. If seeing someone yawn doesn’t activate these centers, what does it do to the brain? The researchers found that it appears to strongly activate at least one brain area, called the superior temporal sulcus. But this activation was unrelated to any desire to yawn in response, so it may be irrelevant to the contagion question, the researchers added.

It seems to be an “‘automatically’ released (and most likely very archaic) motor pattern,” or sequence of physical actions.

LMAO Cathy and Witchy bebe....boring isnt it?  [smiley=roll.gif] ok this is a brief english ... yawn is often lead with a person being tired, but this is not always the cause for a yawn. People yawn for many reasons including stress, boredom, emotion and over-work.   Why is it contagious? well even reading the word YAWN can make people yawn lol it is unconsciously kind of behavior its like...a subtle way of communication in a  group behavior, such as when a birds follow the behavior of one bird, and all rise together as a whole flock.  I yawn cuz for me its a signal to the group that it’s time to go to sleep, lol. Or if I yawn when im gettin  bored, it may be a sign to change the topic of conversation. Sometimes they think its rude but subconsciously its not...or sometimes they dont like someone to yawn cuz of their being bad breath...Anyways....i hope both of you are not yawning now  ;D

Well, sponge, instructions are standard operating procedures. At least they are considerate enough to do it in Braille also for the blind? Hehehehe!

Bad daughter, when you find out, let me know, too ok?

Are "ghosts" multi-lingual? Say, you are living overseas and sharing your apartment with a 'non-mortal'. How do you communicate with these beings?

On the other hand, if you're living in your own country, how do you figure that the "ghost/s" in your house also speaks the same language as you? Maybe he/she was a foreigner.

Just a thought.  ;D
