Title: Yuletide 2005
Post by ChAntiQ on Nov 25th, 2005, 1:15pm

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's Christmas that we're looking forward to now.  Post any Christmas pic you'd want to share here.  Your christmas tree, lights, holiday shops, yuletide ribbons, nicely wrapped gifts, christmas pwesents, christmas stockings, food(!), streetlight designs, santas from different stores lol, kids in christmas attires...Anything that has to do with the yuletide season.   We'd like to picture how Christmas is like on your side of the globe ;D

This is not much, 'Just thought I'd share this here. My simple purple christmas tree.  ;D

My tree, weeks before, about the first week of November I  guess. I've used almost purple /silver everything, from the ribbon, poinsettias, christmas balls, fruits, gift boxes, roses, bells, butterflies, tree skirt, etc,... Too bad I couldn't find purple christmas lights, so I used the colorless rice lights instead, they're these tiny lights, not the usual pointed ones, but I like them better because I think they look best when used in christmas trees.   ;D

This is how it looks now, I decided to move it and put it on top of a small table.  I've added little angels too to complete the look. So there you go, my christmas tree with my favorite things as decorations.

Merry Christmas Everyone! Just in case I won't be able to greet you come christmas. I always say these as my christmas wish:

May you have a wonderful christmas, filled with love, warmth, laughter, and lots of sweet dreams come true!   :) Have fun!!!

Kianna,

Hi! In case I haven't told you before ..... (I don't want to get dramatic, but...) I envy you. Truly, I do. Your spirit on top of everything. You epitomises sincerity and honesty. And everything pure. (Don't worry I'm not drunk nor am I gay). LOL  ;D

A beautiful person with a beautiful soul. Like an angel that walks among us.

Oh, warm holiday greetings to you as well.  ;)

Nice color theme Kianna.  I know another friend--Justy, who likes everything in the shade of the color purple and lavender.  Merry Christmas to you too in case you get too busy this coming holidays.  The holidays are too taxing a time for all of us but we'd love to see you here once in a while. :)

This year we're recycling the Christmas ornaments we used three years ago.  We have different ones every year and we keep them in seperate boxes according to theme.  To date we have 4 themes that we've been recycling everytime.  1-the usual red and gold, 2-peach and silver, 3-blue and silver, 4-all gold.

Some of the ornaments of our tree this year

This was taken outside our home... the pix are kinda blurry coz I was a kinda dizzy when i took this pic my sis and I were running all the way home.  I was the one who put the lights so not much.  Those were recycled lights btw...left from 3 x-mas' ago.  The glowing stars I usally put there have some loose wires and I'm a little lazy to fix them  ::) i'll show a view inside later  ;D

Having a ball of a Christmas Mearthy hehehe... Aww & look at your lil daughty, she looks so much like you.  I bet she was excited to help put up your tree.

And the poinsettias!  My gosh we picked up our friend last week and we waited at the outdoor cafe at the mall.  And there was this garden selling those.  It was like a sea of poinsettias! lol

Most filipino houses have one or more of these around our houses.  It's hung just outside the house and lit up at nights when the Christmas season starts.

Made from "capiz" material. A natural product which comes from a marine bivalve common in Philippine waters, which has a large thin flat translucent shell.  These are more commonly called mother-of-pearl shells.
