Na'uzubilla Min Zaliq!!  Grossiest picture of death I've ever seen in my entire life.  Regretted viewing this thread. I bet this going to give me a night mare again!

My daughter told me that her friend witnessed an accident where a poor little cat was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road. It was flung off to the middle of the road and survived with serious injury on its hind legs. While it was dragging itself with its front paws towards the side of the road, another car zoomed by and ran over it.... thats the end of its ninth life. Leaving behind the grossest sight of its gullet and intestine splattered all over the road.  Whats only left of its natural being was its tail. The rest of its body parts are flattened like a piece of red paper .  Gross!!  Following nights i was haunted in my dream by the image of a paper-flattened cat.

What annoyed me most was the fact that the driver didnt even bother to stop to help that poor cat. Was it because it was just a useless animal that they didnt feel guilty after the hit and run? What a beast human beings are!!

About 6 years ago at night,  I was driving home from work on a paved country road near where I live and I ran over a mommy polecat(skunk) and about 5 of her babies. Needless to say I didnt stop and go back and look at the damage I had done. But those skunks still got thier revenge on me. The pickup truck I had at that time had a real bad oder on it for a few days. I guess they got off a few squirts of that noxious odor that they use for defense on my pickup truck.

Also back in Oklahoma on the irrigation ditches, I would play chicken with the jack rabbits. Jack rabbits were all over the place where I lived. I am not sure if they are just incredibly stupid or they might even be playing themselves. They want to see if they can cross the road in front of you while you are driving. I would be driving in my mustang or my pick up and they would just run along side of me. Sometimes they made it accross other times they didnt and got run over. That is how you play chicken with a jack rabbit. Wish I took some pics so i could post them here, but I dont think digital cameras were available then.   ;D

Chanti thats a nice looking plane. Elvis had one like that I think.

I don't know but there are incidents where humans get hit by a vehicle too and either the driver don't stop or abandon their vehicles and run for their lives. Sometimes people get scared, so before they think of others (like saving the victims by bringing them to the hospital or calling for help), they just simply think of their asses and run off. Because they know that wether the victims live or die, they would still be jailed for the accident. I think if there will be a law stating that you will get off the hook if the victim lives and you just have to pay for the hospitalization, many will at least try to help victims on road accidents. But I know it's just wistful thinking on my part. :P
